[/img] Ghost was on her way to the Shadowclan She was hoping to be accepted by them. She had been a rouge since now. She had gotten lonely when she lost her family. So now she was looking for a new family.. The small Petiete Female Shook her thoughts away And moved quietly through the woods. She felt like she was getting close To the Shadow clan And sure enough She came to a couple of bogs. She lowered her head and sniffed at the muck. She was not a big fan of water. Her whiskers twitched as she sniffed. She raised her head Her sky blue eyes glanced around. And then she saw place she could jump over. She moved over and haunched down and shifted her weight and sprang across. She got her paws wet She flattened her ears back in disgust and twitched her paws rididng it of the water. She moved away from the Murk and sat down curling her tail around herslf She lifted her left front paw up and began to lick it clean. Ears twitching as she kept on the alert. When she was done with Both paws she stood up again and began to move on searching She let out a Soft Call. She was now at the enterance of what appeared to be the shadowclan camp.

Within the camps walls lay a multicolored Vinepaw. She looked born for this forest. A pelt of mostly black marbled with orange and brown, the apprentice could shift about the shadows in as if one with them. Small but with relatively longish legs, her petit form rarely got stuck in mud spots. Often Vinepaw just sprang right over them gracefully, this cat was not one to go around with muddy paws. Daintily she bent to lick her chest fur. Absolutely nothing was going on! A longish tail, like her legs, whacked the ground, a paw raised and twitched in agitation. Can’t wait to get a mentor. She mumbled under breath and spied the camp entrance.
It would be just great if I could slip out. She turned back to her work of cleaning. Everything was quiet in camp, actually she realized the guard wasn’t even at his post! Cerulean orbs blinked and she turned away to her shoulder. Nah. I’d be all alone and totally bored. Deciding to just settle down and let the day pass, Vinepaw flopped to her side. Scanning the ground she didn’t even seen a bit of moss to entertain herself with. Sighing exasperatedly, her eyes closed.
Drifting off wasn’t as easy as she’d hoped though. It was a lovely day, still hot for fall under her thick yet short fur. She was just inside the shade of a pine and resting on some bouncy needles. The earth smelled nice, little bits of wind tugged at her ears. No sleep though. What is that smell Frustrated, Vinepaw leaped up and shook all the clinging orange needles off. Fangs slipped forward as she scented and narrowed her eyes. What is that. It’s not up to any good. Scanning, her sight narrowed on the entrance. Rather ignorantly, Vinepaw trotted over and peaked outside. Who’s there? This is Shadowclan!

The cream colored siamese persian Mix with Grey points. Perked her grey ears forward. Her Clear Clear sky blue eyes Looked over to The black Orange and grey minx. She tilted her head slightly and stood up comming out of the shadows. "Hello" she said in her whisper of a voice. "So this is ShadowClan? Thats great cause ive been looking for your Clan" She said. Her Voice never Rising above a whisper. Dont ask her if she could speak louder because She never saw it nessicary to speak louder. She moved forward towards the other cat. Who was slightly taller then her. She swished her grey tail in the air lazily. "I am Ghostly Sighting. Or Ghost" She said smiling some showing the tip of her fangs.
She did have a faint trace of Human Smell to her. But it did not bother her. She thought the humans were facinating. She shifted her weight once more to be sitting down Her hairy tail falling around her as she looked at the female. 'I am Looking for a place to live' She whispered. When Ghost is relaxed she yawned So she let out a yawn. stretching her mouth wide showing her fangs her rough tounge rolled up to the roof of her mouth. And she looked up at the sky. She then closed her mouth and looked back to the female. "Are you the leader?" She asked.

A sooty grey and white tom could be seen laying over by the apprentices' den. His tail flicking lazily about every now and again. He was utterly bored. There was nothing, reapeat, NOTHING to do! He didnn't have a mentor yet, and none of the elders or queens were bothering him to do anything for them, or atleast not yet they were, and he was just bascially the definition of a laid back cat.
Sootpaw's forest green eyes were half-way closed as he layed there on his side. He wasn't much paying attention to anything. All he was aware of was the wind ruffling his fur slightly and the sight of Vinepaw as she padded toward the entrance.
where is she off to? He wondered as his orbs blinked and he raised his head to watch his fellow clan-mate pad out of sight. she knows she's not allowed out of camp. Sootpaw noted as he stretched quickly, his tail curling up as he rolled over and sat up. His green eyes turned curious as he watched Vinepaw's tail disappear, she seemed abit ruffled. As in, her fur was slightly brisled as she went out. He wondered why. she's not usually in a bad mood...maybe something's gone on outside the camp? Sootpaw imagined as he shook his fur and quick padded over towards the entrance, his eyes guarded and all senses alert.
Right when he got half-way out camp, he heard Vinepaw's voice. 'Who's there? This is Shadowclan!' He blinked and his face turned from alertness to suspicion. Vinepaw must have heard or scented someone out here!
He too now scented the cat...it smelled like...like a rogue! His fur brisled. An intruder. This was new to him. He'd never experienced an intrusion before..or anyone other than Shadowclan around, unless you count his first gathering.
He stayed quiet as he snuck around, going back into camp, knowing where the secret passage out was. He didn't want Vinepaw to be un-attended; so he'd have to sneak up on the rogue from behind. Since alot of the clan were out patroling, it was bascially just the new apprentices and elders in camp.
Sootpaw quick pawed it through the passage and snuck with great skill back around to the front of the camp, his paws itched with anxiety as he crouched low and crawled the rest of the way as he heard voices. He couldn't quite make out the first words...but then he heard one sentence. 'Are you the leader?'
Huh? What did that mean? He could tell it was the rogue speaking, and speaking of rogues. That cat sure did smell like one! He could tell by the voice and scent that it was a female...probably older than him. He decided not to show himself just yet, wondering what this cat wanted. It seemed like she wanted Flystar...but why?

Warily, Vinepaw watched the rough she’d scented come into view. Slightly her eyes widened and tail waved behind her, uncertainly. She’d never had to deal with an actual clan outsider before! This had to be one tricky cat to get around the warriors and right up to camp to. The long furred she-cat had literally gotten past the border and matched right up, probably would have gone right in had Vinepaw not confronted her. And just what this rough want? That question made her even more unsure. No one other then the Shadowclaners walked about this territory with such authority unless they had some reason to be unafraid. If that’s the case she can’t get in to camp. Vinepaw stalked another step forward, staring down the ever so slightly smaller cream colored cat.
Being closer she caught the brief whiff of some unknown thing caught in the trespassers long locks of fur. She was gray about the face with lighter blue eyes then Vinepaw had. The apprentice wasn’t sure what to make of it. The cat before her didn’t actually look like a threat but she decided to air on the side of caution and was about to growl some warning as the cat padded farther forward. Her words were cut off though my a soft mew. Ears, straining she leaned forward, attempting to make out the rouges strangely gentle voice. Why such a cat would go looking for Shadowclan was beyond her, surly she’d be chases away as soon as the warriors returned?
Confused and frowning, Vinepaw lost her aggressive bent posture and stood up strait though her shoulders were still slightly hunched. A name was give, Ghostly Sighting . . . Ghost. The cat plopped down to Vinepaws quizzical look. Ok, so perhaps she’d over estimated, Ghost didn’t seem like such a cat to be afraid off. Actually she appeared to be the kind of cat Vinepaw would easily get along with, If only she could here her better! Oh wait – what had the cat just said? A home? She watched and didn’t speak, it would probably make Flystar mad if she just invited this cat inside. What was she thinking! Or course Ghost couldn’t come in, she was an outsider, unwelcome!
Amidst these thoughts a sent drew near. She jumped and snapped a sharp glance at the outlying shadows abruptly recognizing Sootpaw without seeing his tell tail pelt. Ghosts jaws snapped shut with an audible sound. Vinepaw glanced back at her as she spoke in that same gentle voice. Of course I’m not the leader! Her mew was laughing, but not teasing. She couldn’t believe Ghost had just said that! Ok no, our leader is out at the moment. Tail tip twitching back and forth she decided to sit down to. Being a good judge of character, Vinepaw had decided Ghost wasn’t a threat at the moment. In fact the rouge was lacking essential information it seemed. First thing first though, So your planning on join us eh? With a flick of the ear Vinepaw tried to signal Sootpaw over.

Ghost watched the cats postion shift from attack mode to casual mode. She blinked her blue eyes couriusly. As she spoke saying she was not the Leader But she nodded her head and spoke in that same whispering voice "Yes i am looking for a home. maybe teach someone the skills of hunting" She lowered her front half of her body to the ground. Her ears flicked backwards "Your friend doesnt really know how to get down wind does he?" She asked turning her dial towards Sootpaw who was hiding in the shadows She frowned slightly when she was told the leader was out. Her tail twitched lazily on the ground. "I will wait" She watched as the Myinx motioned for The male cat to come over and she shifted her weight slightly so she could see both of them. Her paws tingled slightly. She flexed her nails into the Dirt and stood up ans Stretched and yawned once more. Before sitting back down.

When Sootpaw saw Vinepaw sent him a sharp glance he immediately knew he was given away.
mouse-dung! He thought as his tail lashed as he stared at Vinepaw, face twisting in a small scowl. Did she have to give him such a sharp glance? She bascially just gave away his position!
Obviously Vinepaw didn't know the first clue on steath. Surpressing a sigh, the young apprentice listend on as Vinepaw spoke to the she-cat, whom he now saw as a small looking cream and grey she-cat. He blinked and glanced at the older looking feline, before realzing she didn't look, or sound for that matter, much of a threat. His ears flew against his head as the she-cat mentioned himself. Tail twitching, Sootpaw stood up and came out from behind the bush, his face striken with momentary embarassment and annoyance as he padded to stand by Vinepaw. He already knew how they had caught him. Vinepaw seeing his bloody white fur, and that she-cat seeing Vinepaw's look, and probably scenting him. But he was low enough in the brush that they couldn't scent him, right?
Not wanting to think about that meer incident of being caught, the tom's eyes glued to the blue-eyed tresspasser before him. Even though she looked to mean no harm, since Sootpaw was the loyal Shadowclan cat he was, he had to hold the suspicion he had towards her.
"Okay, you caught me, but who are you?" He started off in a steady meow. His tail flicked back and fourth as he stared the she-cat in the eyes, he wasn't going to let this rogue in the camp, no matter what Vinepaw said. She obviously thinks that a stranger cat padding onto Shadowclan territory isn't a big deal at all! Look at her! She was just sitting there, if Sootpaw wasn't there, she would probably be pinned down and slitted in the throat if he hadn't been there...
Okay, so Sootpaw was abit big-headed, but hey, he was a tom, what did you expect? The grey and white apprentice waited for the cat to state who she was, because he hadn't heard what her name was before.

Beneath her dark fur Vinepaw blushed, apparently neither of the apprentices had much skill. An almost apologetic smile was given to Sootpaw as the two colored tom padded out, Vinepaw spotted his snow and rock like color before it was fully emerged. The look on his face was hilarious and every rib shook as she fought not to laugh.
The feeling pretty much died as he got closer though, refusing to let his gaurd down for even a heart beat. She frowned, Sootpaw was killing the pleasant mood she’d been trying to create. His words racked her bones, and she nearly hissed at him to shut it. Hadn’t he figured out they didn’t want a fight? Perfectly keeping her face and eyes expressionless, Vinepaw was smoldering at her companion.
No brain! We want Ghost to be calm! She could be good at fighting and it’s not like we would know what to do. He should be trying to be nice and not agitate her! though Vinepaws mind had several more paragraphs to add or grumbling, she had to force the annoyance away. Not an easy thing for her either. Larger then her, Sootpaw was standing in just within a good elbowing distance, getting one between the ribs would probably hurt. Vinepaw didn’t want to risk looking ununited right in front of a guest, possibly one who could be dangerous at that. But probably won’t be.
So she tried again to go about conducting official Shadowclan business in a gentler manor. Her names Ghost, Sootpaw. Vinepaws voice had a slight edge that couldn't be prevented. Turning the backs of her ears to him she faced Ghost directly now, eyes rolling as if they shared some inside secret. Her lips favored another smile, So why Shadowclan Ghost? What brings you all the way here?

Ghost watched The Tom cat supposidly named Sootpaw, Approch them. She did not tense up. She smiled seeing his expression. She did not turn her gaze away, When he met her stare dead on. She flicked her ears towards him And flicked her tail on the dirt sending some pebbles skittering about. She took a breath in and sighed. Shaking Her head slightly. She shifted her paws once again. Wow these cats Are so nervous to be outside of their camp, They sure Dont seem To very confident in their ability to defend themselvesShe thought to herself.
She Felt the Tension between the air It was as thick as butter And she could easily slice through it like a knife. She watched the She cat-Vinepaw try not to laugh as the Tom cat came over. She listened to her call her name. Wow She doesnt Like How hes acting towards me *Chuckle*She Chuckled inside herself. She yawned once more. She was getting bored with all this tension. She laid down Resting her head on her paws. Her Blue eyes watching the two infront of her. "Well VinePaw and SootPaw Its nice to meet you even if you dont think so" She smirked slightly. I am Seeking ShadowClan because I Heard It was a strong Clan And IN Need of Mentors" She stated simply. "And I miss Being in a family" She sighed Her eyes showed saddness for a breif second before returning to normal.

Sootpaw could tell that Vinepaw was upset with him. What'd he do? He was only protecting her-, the clan!
Ears twitching as he glanced at the multicolored she-cat. 'Her names Ghost, Sootpaw.' He ignored the edgeness in her voice, and decided not to say anything. So, Ghost, eh? What an odd name...where was this cat from? He couldn't tell, she looked like any other clan-born cat..but she seemed to be..well built like a Thunderclan cat.
From closer inspection of Ghost, Sootpaw could tell she had thick fur, and some good muscles.... she must be good at hunting... He thought as his eyes narrowed. He blinked back to reality as he heard the soft voice of the rogue.
So, Ghost wanted to...join Shadowclan? Why in Starclan-?
"...Where is your family?" He asked instantly after she finshed what she had said. He wasn't going to play good cop until he found out alittle more about this she-cat... He wasn't trying ot be rude, he just wanted to make sure he understood why in the forest the she-cat wanted to join Shadowclan. He hoped she would also state where she was actually from too. She sure didn't seem to look all too rogush, wern't rogues...well, mean and violent?
Sootpaw started to relax abit, seeing the she-cat had made herself comtorable. Ghost didn't seem like she wanted to hurt, or take over anything. He wondered if she would really want to join...if she did, then how would it be like for her? Shadowclan wasn't the kindist of the clans, most of the clan-mates in the clan were guarded and disrespectful, will obviously treat Ghost like dirt atfirst. And what about Flystar? How could she let in a rogue? That was more of a Thunderclan thing to do, wasn't it? but the clan does need more mentors.... He thought as his green eyes softened, the tension melting abit as he stared at Ghost patintly.

ShadeClaw had been listening in on the cats for quite a bit.......and he was growing tired of it.
Striding over he caught his first glimpse of the supposed cat name Ghost...........hmmmmm, what a strange name he though to himself. He just couldn't help himself from staring. H-he just wanted to gaze and gaze upon this newly found cat that just came.
Finally he gathered up his strength and said aloud Welcome Ghost, It is very n-nice to meet you. He was stuttering because he was so nervous. This cat was AMAZING to him. So he wasn't going to act like some of his clan mates who were acting quite rude. Especially Sootpaw who was out in the open just asking where her family was.....thats a personal thing to her he was sure of it! He could just see it in her eyes. Or maybe it was just him overreacting. Finally he spoke again. My names Shadeclaw.
Inhaling through his nose he noticed how strongly Ghost smelt of Rouge cat. And surprisingly, this cat wasn't violent at all! It was amazing. He was staring again, and he could feel everyone elses eyes on him. He was becoming quite nervous. Then he realized Ghost would find it quite strange of him to stare at her. Or.....would she? He barely new her. But still, just to be catious he lowered his gaze.

She flicked her eas once more at Sootpaw, As he asked where her family was. "They are all dead" She said simply. She had been caught off gaurd when the black tom cat appeared. She turned her body still low to the ground as he approched. She shifted her weight some and stared at his eyes. He was a handsome young tom, She smiled to put him at eas. "Its Nice to meet you ShadeClaw" She said. She turned to the other two. "there is no need to be nervous If I wanted to hurt you i would have done so already" She stated. She was trying to be paitent But she was getting slightly agitated. "Like I said Before I am searching for a home. I grow tired of being alone" She sighed. Her voice never rising. She felt the black Tom staring at her still. And she thought for a moment turning her eyes back on him.
"So when will your Leader be back?" she asked. She didnt really mind the company. But she was tired from her travels. And she wanted to rest. She was tired of watching her own back. Plus maybe one of these days she wanted to find a matte and have a family of her own. She waited for the others to respond.

Before the pair Ghost lay down. She might be small but clearly the rouge figured she’d be able to defend herself and wasn’t worried. Ears twitching, and eyes flicking everywhere, the soft spoken invader didn’t seem unaware despite her relaxed posture. That was more then Vinepaw could say for Sootpaw, on her right he was still standing and looking all ready to take control of the situation. She glanced over at him, still wary and carefully observing the situation. Her black nose twitched and rustled each whisker as she turned back to Ghost. Quietly, Vinepaw was actually interested in her answer.
The she cat kept shifting positions stubbly she noted. Each slightly different movement though no longer sent waves of unusual sent flinging there way. Vinepaw was starting to get used to it and carefully parted her jaws to see if anyone else was around, most of all Flystar. If felt like she was right in the middle of something interesting for once and, eagerly shifting her hind weight, she really wanted to know what there leader might say.
Past the newcomers sent she did detect something – Shadeclaw! Muscles twisted as she turned to catch sight of the black newly made warrior. Vinepaw only had a few memories of him, perhaps a half year older she thought. For a moment the dark apprentice feared he was going to be all aggressive to, Shadeclaw was staring Ghost down! Claws flexing as she watched, the warrior spoke kindly but with a bit of a shudder. At least he was a warrior though, Vinepaw tried to catch his attention but Shadeclaw looked lost and Ghost started to speak.
Snapping around her reflective gaze was sorry as she learned Ghost’s whole family was dead. Head dropping, she examined some bit of thing that had stuck to her fur. How the she cat planned to ever trust a new family was beyond Vinepaw. Even worse, how was Shadowclan suppose to trust her? Blinking sadly she looked up again, Ghosts face wasn’t really mournful. I think she’ll – Vinepaw stuttered quiet, ears straining forward. Was that Flystar now?
. . .
At least my furs mostly dry. Being only the leaders second or third swim ever, Flystar was fairly satisfied she’d managed to save anyone at all. Behind her pads came a young brown kit, about apprentice age, named Maple. His longer fur had still looked slightly damp the last time she’d checked, a glance over her shoulder told the same. Before her eyes she still pictured that moment when he’d slipped forward, teetering between what could have been life and death over the stream. After that everything had gone by in a whirl of movement.
Icy water sinking upon her stomach fur and stealing her breath away. Being thrown and tossed about like some piece of moss in a game. Dark dark currents clawing her sides downward. Then kicking hard against it to the surface, thinking she’d lost Maple for good amongst the eddies. Her hind legs kept catching on underwater stones and were bruised painfully. At the time she’d only wanted to safe the kits life though. Seeing his dark furry shape ahead had been such a relief. Biting his fur and dragging them both onto land, she still felt the strain of it in her shoulders.
But we made it. And since they were closer to camp then, downstream of the warrior Nightclaw who Flystar had bumped into before meeting the kit, she was leading him back to Shadowclan. Large ears twitched, silently she hoped the warrioress wasn’t worried. It would be terrible if she leaped in the stream after them and was hurt. Green orbs blinking she halted and gazed back the way they’d come. The forest was open here, she could see some distance but nothing stirred in the shadows depths and there was no way to send out a message.
Trotting off, her tail swished as the trees bends and knots grew more and more familiar. They were almost home. With luck Echoheart would be in her den and she’d tend to the fatigued Maple. A pack flicked in annoyance as she walked. Of course it was more likely her medicine cat would be out collecting herbs. Checking to make sure Maple was still on his paws, Shadowclan camp loomed up. She felt her step lengthen, a good bite to eat was what they both needed and back within her shelter she could rest all those tired muscles!
A babble of voices flowed up trailing there sent behind. For a moment the leader wondered at the fact so many cats were outside camp. It was great if they all wanted to guard – or perhaps they were distracting the guard, she caught Vinepaws voice and her eyes narrowed. That little she cat would talk to anyone! Halting abruptly, she listened as a brand new voice spoke up. The fur along her spine prickled. This wasn’t a Shadowclan cat. And her warriors were just chatting with it!
Suddenly she severally wished Nightclaw had been left on guard. The black warrior would have been far harsher and have kept this intruder in check. Lashing her tail, Flystar took a breath and readied for her second rouge encounter that day. If it was anything like the last, this would be difficult. Padding into view with her head high and back straight she took the scene in quickly and easily picked out the newest trespasser.
What was more distressing was that, although she was surrounded, the long furred rouge looked totally at ease. She lay limbs stretched before her upon the forest floor and looked utterly calm. Flystar was heartened to know her cats weren’t imposing clan cats at all. Inwardly her spirit sighed. Why hadn’t they just invited this cat in and fed it just to top off the welcome? Growing more frustrated her spirit sighed, this wasn’t what she had wanted to come home to. Feeling everyone’s attention on her, she turned to all of them, face expressionless. So. I see your treating a rough to a friendly chat right outside our camp. Each word sounded a bit sarcastic as she continued. Certainly it’s not a bad idea. If you know where they are you can make sure no prey’s stolen right? Or did you fetch something to ease her traveling pains to? Dangling of the end of the sentance was a question as was evident in her sharp eyes. Flystar wanted to know what was going on.

She watched the Other She cat named Vinepaw. She smelt the arrival of another Cat Comming up from the river She sencd an urgency. And she stood up When the she cat approched. She senced that this was the leader just by how she talked She dipped her head respectfully. "Do not get mad at them' She said in her whisper of a voice. It Held confidence in it. "They were Merely trying to protect the camp. If I was dangerous I would have attacked them by now" She said. "You should know that" She stated. She wasnt trying to be disrespectful. She was just pointing out that if she was a threat these apprentices would not be here right now. "I am here because I am Looking for a home. I am tired of being on my own. And I heard ShadowClan was a good Strong Clan" She stated. Her Blue eyes staring down the leader. She felt the others tension but she paid no mind to it.

Gazethorn was strolling in the forest without a care in the world, with his whiskers twitching to and fro like mice scuttling among a tree trunk. He heard faint voices from another direction and wondered what was going on, making him remind himself that he was the deputy and he must learn to sort things out. ''Right.'' he said half-sternly to himself, making his nose wiggle to smell any scents. ''A.....cat who's not of Shadowclan?....'' his frosty eyes widened at the strange smell and he flicked his tail nervously. ''I also smell Flystar, Vinepaw, and everyone else!'' He just HAD to see what was going on now. He bounded forward to the scents and travelled through the bushes as they scraped him uncomfortably. The smells got closer and nearer, making his muscles scrunch and his shoulders go wider, ready to leap at this new threat that was dominating his own territory. But as he exploded into the space, he saw only one cat who looked not the least bit scared and very comfortable. This angered him, so he bunched his muscles and sprang at the cat, not noticing how calm everyone around her was.
