The deputy of Riverclan sat on the stepping stones, remembering just another connection to his past. It was one of those days were the past seemed lke the present, the present didn't even exist, the future was far off. Lightningfur sat in gloom and slight depression, far off into the past...

"Come on Lightningkit, your too slow!" Bluekit yowled over her shoulder, her sisters close by her.

"Ya come on, you don't want to keep us waiting do you?" Icykit asked with a gracious smile.

I shook my head. "Of course not my beautiful felines! Now lets go over and meet some Shadowclan cats once and for all!"

Pearlkit praticly fainted, while her two other sisters yowled with joy. I enjoyed flirting with them. One of them might even be my future mate! I really hope its that little sweet Icykit! I love her the most, she's been the one I've got to know the best. She is so beautiful, and so genorous! She doesn't fight for me with her sisters either!

"Come on, lets just go." I yowled, trudging my way into Shadowclan territory.


His eyes stared off into the distence, his head was full of memories. Lightningfur was lost in his own past, completly swallowed by it, feeling nothing, not even the sound of the river, or the breeze that tugged at his fur around him.

She was tired, very tired. She had been gathering herbs all day and her paws were sore. She wished she had a little less poundage on her small frame, but she couldn't help it. She wasn't exactly in training and she couldn't help it if little apprentices, which okay she was, kept bringing her food. She loved to eat food.

While daydreaming about her rabbit breakfest she spotted another cat, was that the deputy? She stepped closer and realized that yes it was. He seemed to be lost in a memory and she didn't particularly want to disturb him but she felt as though she needed to talk to someone.

"Hello," she said to the deputy keeping her distance, evidently he wasn't in the mood to be disturbed, "do you mind if I sit with you, if you'd rather I can be quiet?" she asked as she on the stepping stone closest to him.

Lightningfur jumped a little bit when he heard a voice behind him. His fur prickled a bit, his eyes were wide in shock, and his whiskers twitched back and forth. He turned around, his eyes narrow, but when he saw Autumnpaw, riverclan's medicine cat apprentice, his fur relaxed, his eyes stared evenly at her, and he let his shoulders relax. "Sure you can." he mewed evenly to her, stepping aside a bit so she could sit closer to him.

"Thank you," she said staring at him as she sat down. A chilly breeze ruffled her fur and she was grateful for the extra warmth. Also, her few extra pounds of fat that she carried kept her a little warmer.

Suddenly she blushed. Here she was sitting next to the Riverclan deputy and she was feeling very unhappy about the additional rabbit she had eaten for breakfest. Why was she so fat?

"Do you need more room?" she asked stepping closer to the river and suddenly she felt her pads begin to slip. Oh no, she was slipping into the water.

She screamed when she hit the water, an unearthly sound as she was swept below the turmulous waves. She began to move her paws quickly and pushed her head above the water. She gasped for breath and then for some reason, thanked the heavens for fat. Because if she was a little less fat she probably would have had to work hard to stay a float.

She clambored back up on the rock. She coughed up some water and looked apologetically at the deputy.

"Oh, sorry did I get you wet?" she asked looking at him, she began to lick her legs knowning better than to leave her fur wet.

Lightningfur shook his head and gave her more room. "You can take up more room, I don't need mush anyways." he mewed with a warm smile. Then he noticed her plunging into the water. His eyes opened wide in alarm, as he plunged into the water, swimming to get her. He noticed she got back up onto the rock. A warm smile and a chuckle escaped from him as he climbed back up. "Its ok."

((Sorry she has to go cause I don't want her in two different posts, she needs to be at the MC meeting.))

Suddenly she looked at the sky. A half-moon was just beginning to creep up and the sun down. She panicked!

"I have to go, I'm so very sorry," she said speeding away her plump body lying low to the ground as she sped toward where she was needed.
