Instead of taking the mouse to the center of the clearing and automatically sitting down, Ace caught sight of Stoneteller talking to another tribe cat and giving them some herbs. The cat did look a little upset. Ace padded over slowly, wondering if it was the right thing to join in on the conversation and introduce herself to the other cat with Stoneteller. Sighing, she hoped that she hadn't made a stupid mistake. She hadn't joined the tribe that long ago, so she still had a lot to learn about the tribe. The only cat she'd really talked to was Stoneteller, unless you counted the slight entrance of Water or exchanging a brief hi with some of the other cats. She knew that she should be trying her best to know all of the cats, but she was a little uncomfortable and didn't know how to act around them. Well, why not start introducing now? Ace approached them, before sitting down and curling her paws about a foxlength away from them, giving her sleek silver fur a few licks before focusing her attention on the others. "Good morning, Stoneteller." Ace dipped her head respectfully, before turning her piercing ice blue gaze to the younger calico cat who looked like a kit. "I don't think we've met. I'm Ace, a Cave Guard."

Tide was tossed the herbs and he frowned some. He never really understood why Stoneteller was so Cold. Towards Others. He began to eat the Herbs making a Face but not Complaining. He felt some of his boldness comming back and He looked at the Stoneteller. As he waited for the Herbs to kick in. "Stoneteller If you do not Like Other cats why did you become a Stoneteller?" He asked. Then he shrank back slightly afraid. He then noticed A silver Shecat approching and he watched her lay down. She spoke. Her name was Ace and she was a cave gaurd. "Hello Ace" He said. "I am Tide Of Black water. Or just tide" he said.

"Hello Ace, but unless I'm mistaken it's night time isn't it? Either that or I've gone blind." he mewed looking up into the pitch darkness. The string of stars were already streaking the sky. A pretty sight but just dots of light in the sky, meaning nothing to him. Turning back to Tide he prepared himself for another difficult explanation. "Actually to be completely honest, at that time being Stoneteller was the last thing I wanted to do. I guess I really just wanted to do something important then fade away from everyone's memory. Goodness knows why the elders decided to elect a sadistic, cold cat like me. To this day I still wonder if they made a big mistake. You should know that I was never a favorite among the elders. I'd argue with their traditional ideas and brush off their advice. Even now there are times that I just wish I could step down. Maybe I will someday."

"Well I'm flattered you think so. Most cats don't appreciate having someone like me bossing them around all day." Seth's mind immeditely went to the black cat. No doubt that black cat would've wanted nothing more then for the fact that Seth didn't exist. Curious too, it also was the one tiny fork in the road that made him into what he was today. Seth had often wondered about it and even considered asking the Tribe of Endless Hunting. What happens if just one small thing changed in your life. Would it change you? If avoiding killing off just one unsignificant life, did his own unsignificant life change so much too?

Dont Think that Stoneteller" He said sleepily. "They would not have chosen you if they thought you were not the right choice for the job' he said his eyes closing. He yawned and began to shift his paws in the dirt his nails digging into the ground as he got comfortable. "The always make the Decsions for a reason" He yawned again. His eyes closing.
