Busily nodding, wishers bouncing about his vision, Baypaw noticed the lack of words passing between the three. He was all sprawled out with a full belly and it was about time for him to really get to know Hailpaw. She was the only other cat in the apprentices den as far as he was aware and was older. Could be why she’s shy. Not used to talking to any one. With that thought he blinked and noticed Blazepaw staring at him. With a sideling look he suddenly feared some scrape was handing from his wishers and tried to brush them with a paw nonchalantly.
He’d let Blazepaw answer Hailpaws gently spoken question but she’d not answered back. It felt like someone needed to get things moving but he had no idea what to say. Feels like something’s happening that I don’t know about. Confused, his broad shoulders shifted against each other and he changed positions. So Hailpaw, have you gotten a mentor yet yourself? Not the most inspirational of questions, and Baypaw had been going for something more then a possible one word answer, but it would have to suffice.
We’ll probably have our ceremonies about the same time He added, looking less then completely exited by the prospect. He tried not to stare but Hailpaw was pretty and Baypaw truly wanted to invite her to talk with them about anything. They were part of the same clan right? When winter came they’d have to rely on each other and if that was true why couldn’t they at least talk without all the added worrying over words?

* Hailpaw * Hailpaw glanced around at the two tom cats. Blazepaw seemed nervous and was looking to Baypaw, while Baypaw seemed lost in thought. Hailpaw looked to her paws, trying to give herself something to do, or at least attempt to look busy. The white and grey tabby she-cat sat there motionless. As her own thoughts began to wander. In her fairy tale all was quiet, an the forest was shimmering a faded gold and pink. Sunset? She would have guessed. Her lithe frame moved slowly through it. Here she was... different in some ways. Her legs seemed a bit longer, her body stretched out a bit more. Her face more grown up, her eyes striking as always. Her whiskers seemed longer and more fluttery.
Could this be her as a warrior? This day dream was weird though. She seemed to be watching herself from above. Like starclan did for them now. Her fully adult version moved deeper into the forest. And here she seemed less cautious, less afraid. Everything was peaceful and serene, like a picture book. Suddenly the female stopped and stared out before her. Three pathways laid ahead, and suddenly the older versions face fell. Her more curved form sat down. Her striking blue eyes stared at each one in turn. The first path was blazed with fire, but the pathway was untouched. The second seemed to be more cool and breeze like. The thorn was surrounded by thorns but again the pathway was clear. Yet all three were calling one name. Hailstream.
So Hailpaw, have you gotten a mentor yet yourself?
Hailpaw snapped back into reality as her day dream faded like smudged paint on a canvas. She glanced up at Baypaw, her white whiskers twitched softly. She nodded her head slowly. "Yes, Whitethorn is my mentor." she mewed softly her tail snaked easily over her paws. She turned her head to Blazepaw for a moment, then back at Baypaw. She blinked gently at them.
We’ll probably have our ceremonies about the same time
Hailpaw smiled, but then frowned a bit. "Your not excited?" she guessed or maybe he wasnt excited to be a warrior with her. The thought actually pained her a bit, but she pushed it away. She wouldnt blame him, who would want to be warriors with such a scardy cat? Turning her gaze over to Blazepaw she smiled at him. Inviting him to speak. Her body relaxed a bit though she still felt a bit strange talking like this. "So how is your guy's training going?" she asked gently. Indicating that it was a question directed at both of them. Turning she licked it her chest, making the white color glow softly in the sunlight.

Blazepaw listened as his clan-mates mingled and took the time to bite into the mouse he had gotten for himself to eat. His ears prickled up at the mention of a warrior's name. Whitethorn
He blinked and remembered the big white tom, so that was Hailpaw's mentor? Wow, he felt kinda dumb for not knowing this... He had seen the white warrior just acouple days ago, he had helped him practice his hunting skills. Something Ashstorm rarely taught him. Being a medicine cat wasn't all about herbs and Starclan, was it?
Coming back from his thoughts, Blazepaw almost didn't hear Hailpaw's question. "It's going fine." He meowed after swallowing a piece of the mouse. Ashstorm had been teaching him the basics of the herbs, going into the more advanced now; but he had already learned almost all the herbs himself. The next step was probably Starclan. Ashstorm had a strong connection with Starclan, Blazepaw himself did, but he didn't really believe that. It wasn't that he didnt' believe it Starclan....but it was all abit difficult to understand. Dead ansestors telling prophocies to certain cats? Pfh, and how was that logical?
Blazepaw's tail thumped the ground and he avoided eye-contact with the others as he bite into the mouse again.

Simmerheart padded into the clearing, she carried two mice. She quietly padded up and dropped them on the fresh kill pile. She stood by the pile, staring at it and thinking. She wondered if the elders and queens had gotten some fresh-kill yet, and she couldn't decide if she should go give them some. She had had enough to eat that day and wasn't going to eat anything. She started thinking maybe she should just go out hunting more, what would help her clan the most? She did not know, and that disappointed her. She felt like she was disappointing her clan, the only thing that mattered to her.

The snow white Female was lounging in The Shade outside of her Den. she was enjoying The breeze that came through. Her Dark blue eyes were closed. Her head on her paws infront of her. This was Whispering Creek Of The ThunderClan. And she was dozing in the afternoon Sun. She Was some what round showing off her Expecting form. She raised her head lazily As she heard the voices of a few of the young She slowly opened her eyes and Looked over to the prey pile Where she saw Blazepaw and Hailpaw. She flexed her claws and yawned some. She Was still not sure How she felt about being pregnant With no mate. but she was coping she sighed and sat up. Her blue eyes looked towards the Entrance. She was getting tired of laying around. She had decided that She was not going to let the outside world scare her any Longer. Not after her incident. She Got to her feet. And Padded quickly towards the entrance. Her snow white form shone In The Light. Almost as if making her a becon. SHe hated her pelt color. She had always been teased and called the oddball in her family when she was younger. But She had gotten use to it. But in her condition it kind of made things worse. She sighd and sneezed Shaking her head. She slowed down. As she passed the Prey pile. She was not moving so fast these days. The Kits were to be born In a week or two. She could feel it. She dipped her head slightly Towards The Two Apprentices.

Blazepaw looked up to notice the queen Whispering Creek padding over, it looked like, to the entrance. He immediately wondered why she was. Is Whisper crazy? She can't go outside camp, her kits are due in..what a week and a half? Blazepaw thought as he watched the queen move slowly, stopping at the freash-kill pile. He wondered if he should go over and let the queen know that she couldn't go outside camp...
He let out a small sigh and left his mouse, glancing at Hailpaw and Baypaw, "Pardon me." He mewed lightly as he trotted off quickly toward Whispering Creek. He came up beside her, tail high. "Whispering Creek? What are you doing? Do you need something to eat?..." He asked, voice friendly as he tried to find out why the she-cat was out. Maybe she was only hungry? Baypaw did go and fetch the queens something to eat right...?
The young medicine cat apprentice stared at Whispering Creek with paitent hazel eyes as he waited for her response.

Whispering Creek turned her Dark blue orbs onto the young apprentice, Blaze paw and she sat down as he approched. Blast her dang pelt. They had seen her. She raised her paw and licked it for a few seconds waiting for him to close the gap. When he finally did She smiled. "Hello Blazepaw" purred Her expression was soft. "you caught me" she said. "No i am not hungry" She stated. "I just need to stretch my legs outside of camp or i will go insane" She stated gently. "The kits are due in a week and a half" She stated. "im sure i will be ok if i just walk outside of camp for just a few moments" She looked at him Her eyes were pleading. She needed to overcome her fear of being outside the camp. Or else the rouges would win. She had not even realized The other cat that had approched the prey pile. She swatted her tail back and forth.

No sound was made as the tom walked a faded trail of the thunderclan camp. He was on his way to meet up with an old friend, well the gal wasn't old but you get my point. Ears perked forth, listening to every detail in the world, from the birds chirping to the wind ruffling the leaves on the trees. He smiled, tail flicked as he turned down a sunny path. Pad's hitting against the ground quietly as he went from a walk to a trot. Bright almond blue eyes looked to the white she-cat before looking towards the other tom. He smiled, a dip of his wedged head, and the tom was off walking towards her once more. "Hello Whisper" he spoke softly. Tail hung low and relaxed, flicking here and there as his attention was soon drawn to the other Tom "Good day" he added. Always such a gentle, loving creature he was.

Whisper heard her best friends voice and she turned her dainty little head and smiled to him. "Hello Taint" She purred to him. Her dark blue eyes turn back Onto the Apprentice Blazepaw. "my Friend Taint will escort me I just need to get out of the camp for a little bit" She said in her sweet voice. She knew she wasnt suppose to leave with her kits being born in a little over a week. But She had to. She could not stand sitting around and doing nothing. She sighed and setted herself and her large belly down into an Awqward sitting postion, Waiting for someone to say something

As she saw other cats coming up to the fresh-kill pile she shook her head and padded to the side of the camp and sat. She could feel her belly rumble. It was the apprentices job to give the elders, medicine cat, and queens food, but had the really received it? She shook her head again, these where apprentice duties and she was now a warrior, but boy did she miss the apprentice duties. She had trouble remembering that she was now a warrior, she felt like she would never get used to not having to clean out dens, train, and fetch prey for those who could not. She had been a warrior awhile, but it always felt like it was just the first day, she missed so much about apprentice-hood, so much that couldn't be helped, that couldn't be changed.
She was sitting on the edge of camp, front paws tucked under herself, tail wrapped around herself, with her eyes closed. Peaceful. Memories of her apprentice-hood flooded through her, she felt like crying, and than she thought of thunderclan. Thunderclan was her life, she could protect thunderclan more as a warrior now, she had to. She couldn't let them down, never.

Taint smiled "Come m'dear friend" he said softly. Turning he began walking away before stopping, he looked over his shoulder. Watching Whisper, seeing if she needed his help. He would gladly help her, she was a dear good friend of his. Eyes watched as the other cat walked away, he sighed. Wondering, hoping the other feline was okay. Shaking the thought out of his mind, attention was yet again drawn to Whisper and her plumed belly.

Whisper smiled, As Tainted accepted to Take her out and watch her. She looked to the Medicine cat. Yes her kits were Due here very Soon. Almost in a couple of Days. But Whisper wasnt one to be slowed down by expecting Kits. The kits were more active. But she was determined to still get out, and She was determined to still go to that Gathering. Maybe She would find A mate. She sighed hopfully and rubbed up against Blazepaw. "Dont Worry Blazepaw I will be fine" she said and she turned and Followed after Taint.

Blazepaw watched as both cats talked.
"Uh, well okay then, but be careful!!" He called after the she-cat, eyes glazed with worry. gah, I'm acting like a mother worrying over her kits! He thought as he let out a sigh, turning back to go over to sit by his clan-mates again. What's a medicine cat to do? He wondered as he took his time padding back.

Always she had been slender but her ribs were more visible then they had ever been. The she-cat limped despite her attempts to put weight on the offending paw. Distaste at the vulnerable state she was now in as well as the worry that she had lost her position as deputy, she knew that even if she had not been replaced that her injuries may never heal for her to continue on as a warrior of Thunderclan, regret surged over most of her other thoughts as she entered the clearing, she was surprised nobody had stopped her yet but she supposed that her scent would still carry that of Thunderclan. Several moons ago her future as a strong warrior, the deputy of a strong clan ended when she had found herself injured. Her memories of those few moons were hard to separate from one another, she remembered the crowfood or the mouse or two she had once caught despite her injuries that had kept her alive and healing, barely and it was several days before she had felt enough strength to attempt to find her clan, her home. The silver and white tabby she-cat knew that a lesser cat may not have returned injured, useless and without their former rank but Thunderclan was her home and she knew that even with her injuries she could still be of some use, she could perhaps recover enough to take an apprentice and even hunt a little but something deep within her knew that would be a good time and hard push for her to regain a little semblace of her former life. She would endure. Her eyes of murky green with the strange black kohl like rings were focussed ahead and she moved forwards into the camp clearing, waiting to see what would happen to her now. The injured She-cat, with her slightly matted pelt, several new scars and ribs showing even more stood silent.
The clearing was the same, the same cats on the most part, perhaps some more apprentices but they were there and something in her heart relaxed as she remembered, she was never alone, she may be injured but she had her clan.

Goldstar was returning from the gathering, she just entered the camp clearing and stopped in her tracks. She stared. "Rainstorm!" she mewed excitedly. Her friend was back! She approached Rainstorm "What happened?" she mewed, a tone of worry in her voice. She saw that Rainstorm was injured, she planned to take her to the medicine cat den.
