Description:
With mustard eyes, Nightsong received her name in the beginning because of her pelt. She was rarely seen in the dark, her black pelt concealing her, the shadows devouring her. She doesn't have many scars, since she is a Medicine Cat and is not supposed to be attacked. She has a v-scar on her right ear from a hawk that attempted to scoop her up when she was our searching for herbs. The hawk hadn't realized that she was bigger than an apprentice, even though just barely, and that she would have put up a terrible fight.Picture: glassowater.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/black-cat.jpg
History // Past:
Nightsong's past is not a very interesting one. Nothing significant has happened in her life that she feels the need to pass on. Both of her parents are deceased, and she has one other sibling. Her sibling left WindClan when they were only seven moons old. She sees him occasionally, yet can never convince him to return to the Clan.Personality:
Deciding to become a Medicine Cat was not difficult for Nightsong. She had always dreamed of helping the weak, and ever since she was little she would challenge herself on the herbs she knew. Although she couldn't help a whole lot, she knew she could start practicing, so if one day she did become the Medicine Cat Apprentice.
At first, things didn't go as planned for Nightsong. She was an ordinary apprentice, with a Warrior as her mentor. This did not keep her away from the Medicine Cat's den, however. Any chance she got she would help search for herbs, and help in any way she could. One night, her mentor had a sign sent from StarClan. It was dead night, and she heard a bird's song. A shooting star answered her that Nightsong would be the next Medicine cat.
Nightsong has always been a friendly cat. She will help anyone in need, even if it means helping a rogue. She's always looking for new ways to cure illnesses, to improve the remedies she uses. She has a fairly strong connection with StarClan, which helps her Clan a lot. To make things better, she has an open-mind, so she explores the possibilities to the highest. Because of this, she is able to interpret signs from StarClan a bit easier than most.Role Playing Example:
Wind whispered through the moorland, sending the towering grass and wheat waving. Scents of rabbit drifted here and there. Leaf-fall was coming. The leaves were turning to reds and oranges. Cool, crisp wind filled the spaces unoccupied. Soon Leaf-bare would be here, and so would the snow. Which meant that restocking would be one of the she-cat's first priorities. However, she was not out gathering herbs. Not today.Theme Song:
"I wish you would join WindClan once more. It's not the same without you..." A black she-cat perched on a smooth stone, her mustard gaze following the wave patterns created by the breeze. Beside her sat a black and white tom. He was much larger than her, his muscles rippling beneath his pelt.
"Clan life isn't for me. I've told you that. Don't worry, I'll be fine. Besides, if I ever need a Medicine cat, I have you." He sympathized. He gave the she-cat's shoulder a few licks, then stood up. The wind flattened his pelt, his tail curling up beside him.
"Come see me before Leaf-bare, please." the Black she-cat meowed, her voice thick with sadness. It was always hard to say good-bye when it would be a long time before she saw the tom again.
"I will, Nightsong. Stay safe." He promised, and then turned to head towards the barn at the edge of the territory. Nightsong knew he wouldn't stay there long. He would move on, exploring where ever his paws led him. "Goodbye." He called over his shoulder, padding away.
"Goodbye, Shadow..." She called after him. Watching him as he disappeared, Nightsong wondered if she would see her brother again. He had taken care of himself since he had first left, so why should she doubt it now? Yet she always wondered if she would see him again. When he was out of site, Nightsong stood, and began to race back to camp. It was time to perform her Medicine Cat duties.
