History // Past:
Bramblepaw smiled and nodded, but instead of leaving camp to go find him, she trotted straight back to the elders den. She was different. One of a kind Shadowclan apprentice. He shook his head, she'd probably start on it herself. Turning he walked towards the entrance again. Mainly to go hunting himself, the clans pile was near empty. So padding easily out into the territory, he walked. Lifting his head every so often to scent the air. The scent of toad of course entered his glands. Though he more wished for some other animals. Like some of the voles or squirels found here as well. Trotting along he lifted his paws onto the bark of a tree. Scenting it quickly, squirrel, but it was stale. He growled but lowered back onto the ground. Turning he walked towards the marsh like area of shadowclan. It was a little hard to scent here, but water voles could be found here sometimes. His paws stepped on a twig and it snapped. The tom flinched and froze. His ears flattening onto his skull. A voice entered his earshot. That of his daughter, Rosepaw. She must not scent him here. "Rosepaw, its just me." he mewed, loud enough for her to hear him before stepping out of some of the reeds. He walked over to her. Description:
ll Build llPicture: Click!
Pyrestorm has a rather muscular build though he is not that big. He is average in size and his body is long and lithe. He is well built with major speed behind his long legs. He has the upper strength of a good fighter and the lower strngth of a runner, making him a pretty well rounded tom. Though you could say he has two left paws and often trips over himself. Thats his weakness. His paws are rather large and are great for catching larger prey, or give off more damage in a fight.
ll Pelt ll
Pyrestorm has a dark ginger colored pelt. It shines a nice bronze color in the light and shines like its on fire during the day time, when the sun really beats down on his fur. He has faded tabby stripes that are a paler ginger, but are hardly noticable so he isnt really considered a tabby cat. His fur is mainy a gorgeous firey red color that consumes his whole body. His fur is nice and short for the hot weather, but as the air gets colder his pelt seems to thicken. But because it is short it is easier to groom. His tail is long and snake like, swishing a briliant color, like licking flames and has no plume to it.
ll Eyes ll
Pyrestorm has firece blue eyes that are like the ocean. They appear friendly, inviting but in the end you could find yourself drowning inside them. They are firece and bright, with an aquatic coloring to it. With specks of greens near the pupils. Untamed eyes as they stare at you, sending chills down anyones spine.
History // Past:
ll Kithood llPersonality:
It was a cold night in leaf-bare when this tom cat was born. His mother was the pretty Flamepetal, a ginger she-cat with bright green eyes. His father was Oakbranch, a brown tom cat with blue eyes. The two cats grew up together as apprentices and as warriors became mates, producing a liter of three cats. Though with the harshness of leaf bare, only one kit would survive. She gave birth to two toms and a she-cat. The first tom was named Dustkit, a faded brown tom cat with green eyes. The next tom was named Pyrekit, a dark ginger tom with fierce blue eyes. And the she-cat was named Amberkit, a ginger she-cat with yellowish green eyes. With the cold winter air flying into the den, poor Amberkit froze. Even with the warmth of her mother. Dustkit lasted a bit longer, and was old enough to play with Pyrekit. Both toms were strong and sturdy, the light in there parents life. But soon Dustkit fell ill to green cough, and being such a young cat did not survive the night. Only young Pyrekit was left, and his parents feared his safety. But once new leaf came around and the camp warmed up, they were relieved. Pyrekit had survived.
ll Apprenticeship ll
Reaching his sixth moon he was named Pyrepaw. Given to an older warrior by the name of Sootear. A senior warrior on his last apprentice. Sootear was a tough mentor that beleived in sheer perfection of his apprentices. And Pyrepaw strived everyday to meet his expectations. But because of this harsh training it made him stronger and able to endure more than most other apprentices. This young tom cat excelled at his battle training, was rather good at hunting. Just all around good warrior, like most others. One his second border potrol they were attacked by another border potrol. And Sootear had lost his life, being semi-fragile as it was.
Pyrepaw grieved the loss of his mentor. And was then reassigned to a younger tom cat. Named Twigtail. Twigtail was more easy going, and was extremly impressed by Pyrepaws improvements and work ethic. And so Twigtail finished off the young toms training. And that evening he was going to become a warrior.
ll Warriorhood ll
At his fourteenth moon he was named Pyrestorm, for his dark pelt color and storm like attitude at times. He sat his vigil that night, and relieved in that morning. Pyrestorm slept his first day in the warriors den along side his parents, who were becoming older warriors now. During his first few moons he lost his mother to an infection and his father retired to the elders den. But some good came from this, he was also trusted with his first apprentice Gravelpaw. A grey tom cat with grey eyes, he was troublesome from the start. Pyrestorm and Gravelpaw had a neutral relationship, more along the lines of hatred at first. Seeing as Gravelpaw would not listen to orders and tried to do his own thing.
But after a few moons of harsh training, like he had recieved from Sootear, they had grown to respect eachother. They stil had some spats but not that much, he had shaped Gravelpaw into a fine tom cat. And after five moons of training he was named Gravelfur of Thunderclan. They are still friends today, and often go hunting together. Other than that Pyrestorm has been living his life as a loyal warriors, awaiting the rest of his life. Which he does hope to find love in someday.
Loyal & FriendlyRole Playing Example:
Pyrestorm is a really loyal tom cat, and it would be very rare to see him ever to break the rules. He sticks to them as much as possible, yet he knows the right time for them to be bended. It would be really really rare to see him take a mate outside the clan, and would probably never happen. He sticks to his clan being a pure blood thunderclan tom since his long line of Thunderclan ancestors. He is mainly a clan first type of tom but knows that his heart is somtimes the thing to follow in desperate times. The trait also shows that he has good judgement. Aside of being loyal Pyrestorm is a rather friendly tom cat that gets along well with others. Mainly inside his clan, though he is not that friendly to tresspassers from other clans.
Serious & Strict
Pyrestorm knows when he needs to be serious, and will not be in a joking mood at that time. Its almost as if his brain switched gears and its all he is at the moment. He takes things really seriously at the time and could come off as a bit snappy and tempered expecially if its a frustration conversation. This also shows Pyrestorms brave side, he is extremly brave and can tend to rush into things at times without thinking. Along with his serious side he can also be really strict. Mainly with the more troublesome apprentices, stay on his good side and you will be fine. Pyrestorm has a history of 'taming' cats that started out as trouble and rude and turned them into fine warriors that the clan can be proud of.
Witty & Charming
Pyrestorm is a really clever tom cat, and can be at times a flirt. But he usually isnt, hes very particular about the she-cats he likes and wont go around making them all fall in love with him. But he can come up with some great romantic lines without meaning to or think of witty comebacks when in an arguement. With his witty side he is also charming, and end to draw in more attention than he really wants. He hates turning other cats down but will if its necessary.
Sly & Mysterious
Pyrestorm also has a sly side to him, one that makes other cats cringe in thought of. Almost as if hes fighting at the border line of light and dark. He can come up with rather evil plots, or thoughts that make some cats test his loyalty and trust, though in the end he also wins it back. Its the scary side of Pyrestorm that is cold and dark when hes just really depressed or in a firecly bad mood. Which never really happens, its almost as if hes stuck in an abyss at the time where nothing matters. With this trait it gives him an edge of mystery one that tends to draw in more of the she-cats, they always want to know what hes thinking. But during this stage he could care less about them or anyone else, not even himself.
Stubborn & Insensitive
Pyrestorm can be a really stubborn tom cat, and at sometimes its either his way or the highway. He's not easily persuaded into things unless he already felt it was a good idea to begin with. Otherwise good luck with trying to get him to see your side of the arguement. He is strong willed and will nove be swayed easily at all. Along with his stubborn side he can come of as insensitive when irritated and just say things even if it hurts someone around him.
Is it ok if its another one of my cats?[/i] Wolfstar chuckled softly. "Always a busy bee you are Bramblepaw. Dont over work yourself. And sorry to say I dont know where Jetpaw is. Maybe hes out hunting or something." he mewed.
Wolfstar sat alone in his den, the muscular white and black tom cat slowly slid onto his stomach. His head slowly descending to his paws. His 'wolf' paws as they were called by his mother back in his time. He did miss Snowball, her guidence and reassurance always made him feel stronger, knowing that she was behind him every pawstep incase he fell. But he was no longer a kit, a kit that needed to be protected from everything. He had to stand on his own now, and watch over his own kits. Sometimes he wondered what it would have been like if Darkdust had become leader instead of him? Would the pressure be off? Probably not, he probably would still be a warrior right now. Only worrying about potrols and his children. The tom winced in pain, every time he thought of the apprentices he thought of Shadowtail. And every time he thought about Shadowtail he thought about that lousy flea-bitten kittypet that stole her away.
Though he didnt completly blame the tom, Shadowtail should have been more loyal. To the clan and to him, but she choose to leave. Choose to leave her kits and mate. He had to raise them on his own, with the help of Bramblepaws mother of course. The tom cat flicked his tail in thought as he lowered his green optics. He was a failor in one thing, being a father. Jetpaw hated him, because he felt it was somehow his fault that she left. And at his mother for leaving him and his sister. He didnt know exactly what to do with Jetpaw, everytime he tried to be a good father and take him out on potrols he just ignored him and didnt even really look at him. But at least he had Rosepaw, who loved him, who understood all the pressure he was under, who respected him as a father and leader. Wolfstar shook his head, with Jetpaw, he would jsut leave the tom alone and treat him like he would treat any other apprentice. Though he knew that he would always care about his sons well being. Even if he wouldnt show it anymore.
Getting to his paws he stretched out his legs. Arching his back into a long stretch, his tail flicked to finish it off. He blinked his green pools again to wake himself, fully, up. The proud leader lifted his head. None of his clanmates ever really saw his weaker emotions. Such as sadness, they needed a strong leader not a broken hearted scrap of fur. So his broad sholders straightened and he walked out of his den. Some of the other warriors looked up at him. He dipped his head to his clanmates and they returned it. Turning to look around the camp just catching a white ginger pelt leave the entrance. Only one cat in his clan had those colors. Rosepaw. He started to tred slowly towards the entrance. ut stopped, she was probably off doing some medicine cat things, she didnt need him around. Upon seeing Bramblepaw bound over to him, he took a step back. "Evenin' Bramblepaw." he mewed his voice cool and calm as he stared at the apprentice. ' Wolfstar, I was wondering. If you knew where Jetpaw was. I wanted to ask him if he wanted to help me patch up Twistedfoot's den. Its getting a bit chilly in there.'
