Name: Baypaw
Gender: Tom
Age: 6 moons
Clan: Thunderclan
Rank: Apprentice
APPERANCE
Whishker colors not avalible. Eyes: Thunderclans newest apprentice comes with some interesting orbs! Baypaws eyes are a mixed color of brownish green, though the olive stain is clearly more present. They are light and under the right conditions look very translucent, like you can see past the color to the white eye beyond. In different light though the pair’s shading is solid enough, though a few cats remark they’re rather sickly.
Fur: Baypaw’s pelt steels over his frame a solid gray. Not a dark gray mind, a silvery colored gray, far lighter then the common blue soot gray that many cats bear. Indeed his charcoal outer coat seems almost to shimmer with light threads of pail silver. The under layer is what gives his mono tone color interest. It’s much darker and more sinister, not that it reflects Baypaws personality much. His glowing gray pelt consists mainly of short velvet strands. They never clump or stick, it’s like he is make up of downy fur. They make his whole body soft like a kits and gives this tom a smooth appearance.
Weight: This young stony tom only amasses 8 pounds currently. He’ll perhaps one day be ever so slightly large for a forest cat but that days far off. He needs time to build up an ample supply of muscle, and of course to grow.
Build: He seems sturdy enough. Baypaw was born having the advantage of marginally long legs. They don’t look awkward on him though, they aren’t chicken legs and defiantly look thick enough to pin down an opposing force. Nearing their ends are well rounded large paws. It’s true they are a bit bigger then other cats but Baypaw manages surprising grace and each one is tipped with five ivory claws. He looks to have a good sized rib cage followed by a build filled out to meet it perfectly. No one would call him thick though. He’s seamlessly well proportioned, and extraordinarily average cat.
Scars/markings: No thing white cuts tear threw Baypaws pelt. Not at all, he’s fit an young. So far other warriors have done the fighting for him and Baypaws been well protected. Even if a claw did catch him right though, His smooth velvet pelt would just morph around the bald area.
Other: Baypaw has amusing cream colored wishers. They range from pure white to a reddish cream and give his single colored body a burst of color right around his eyes. It makes his face very capturing and rather hansom.
PERSONALITY:
So far this young tom has turned out to be a perfect gentleman. He appears rather relaxed all the time. It seems like Baypaw knows where he is in the world, like his is sure of himself in a way that prevents other cats from phasing him. His demeanor if usually calm, so far he has never been pushed to anger towards any cat ever. Should someone try they’d find the act of getting him riled up extremely difficult. Baypaws just not the kind of cat to throw a fuss. He recognizes when something with the fight and when it isn’t. He often judges more things to be unworthy then worth actually building up a serious argument.
In no way does this strange air of composure mean Baypaws a push over. He may chose not to fight a cat directly but it’s often because he’s more creative then the usual throw your weight and words around type. And it’s because understanding other cats comes easy to him. Often he discovers bouts of others pushing him and growing at him has little to do with him at all. Usually it’s they’re own inner problems. To these little Baypaw tries to help, whether it’s a listening ear or offering encouraging advice. His words often seem to calm perhaps it’s because Baypaw always says what he believes. But like I said, he’s no push over. When and if things go to far this silver toms not afraid to go nose to nose with whoever he has a problem with. He would never shy away from a necessary fight.
As far as fights go, Baypaw is fiercely loyal to Thunderclan. He doesn’t have any quarrels with the forest near by neighbors. He doesn’t really generalize much and instead lean toward forming opinions of every cat he meets individually. There is nothing that would stop him from giving his life for any one of Tunderclans members though. It has something to do with how protective he is over all of them. Every feline their from kit to elder has found a place in his heart and he would never see anything bad come to them. Many cats would just as soon call him a coward when they fail to ruffle his fur but they’d be wrong. It’s not against Baypaws nature to fight. He has a rather noble spirit about him that seems to attract other cats in.
He can’t be all good though. The little silver tom does know one group of cats he can never feel at ease around. These would be the rouges that skirt clan boundaries. Partly this is because they are one of the few cats he can’t understand. He is a sociable fellow. Nothing suits him better then sitting amongst his clan, simply enjoying they’re presents. He enjoys talking with everyone, even if the biggest of chatter boxes do wear his patents at time. Baypaw won’t flee a conversation unless something is really urgent. This is why he doesn’t trust rogues. They spend life alone in a lawless land and they can often fight. He sees them as having no morals. If one were to enter Thunderclan Baypaw would forever find it hard to accept them.
This bias attitude fails to extend to all clan outsiders though. Kitty pets and loners are a few other groups Baypaw readily accepts. He even finds it fun to talk to them. He has a since of hummer and enjoys laughing with others and poking fun amongst friends. At an early age he wasn’t embarrassed to be laughed at and he loves coming up with ways to make others smile. Because he gets along with these two groups of clan outsiders, Baypaw would have no problem befriending them in the future.
PAST
BITRTHDAY: It was during the earliest days of new-leaf that the young queen Pebbleclink went into labor. She was truly beautiful with golden amber eyes and a white pelt tinged with silver. On that day it rained hard and the warmer rains bit into the snow and washed it away. After this day, it would be warm again with no hit of leaf bears chilling winds. No cat new this though, new-leaf rarely came this early and the sunny days that flowed into green-leaf were quite unexpected. The she cat lay in labor for nearly an hour struggling hard to bring her kit into the world. She and her mate Graysand would sleep that night next to a new life. They named their son Baykit. His swirling mix of their pelts were reminiscent of gray skies and stormy water, his name was the picture that came to mind as the washed his fur.
KITHOOD: was an to be an interesting experience for Baykit. He couldn’t have been more typical in any way. The first day Pebbleclink led his simmering form from the nursery Baykit was stunned. He loved the sunlight and loved watching the warriors wide eyed. Just like so many before him Baykit tumbled and romped around the clearing with another she cats two older kits. They enjoyed games like playing out attacks and being leader. Baykit never morphed into Baystar though, the twin siblings always said he was to young to do it right. Velvety Baykit didn’t argue and the trio did much together. One of they’re favored pass times became palling around with the apprentices. Actually this was the twins favorite thing to do, Baykit noted they always were tired from training and working. Plus, they wanted nothing to do with the kits anyway. Still these were the activities Baykit did most often in his early life.
Though still young, days and weeks passed seeing the storm furred tom already maturing. He began to notice certain things about the twins. They were desperate to be apprentices for one thing. The oldest even seemed to think the honor would be granted to him extra early. Baykit watched as they spent hours trying to muscle in with the older cats. When on rare occasion they did play leader again, Baykit was still forced to be a warrior and never leader. He wasn’t angry though, actually knowing what he did, little Baykit found it kind of amusing. The twins looked they always wanted to win there mothers attention, always wanted to be the best. They clawed for recognition like a piece of meat just out of reach. Baykit was happy to be warrior after this. If he could help his fur ball friends get over there inferior feelings, that was good enough for him.
May cats noted Baykit didn’t seem to have much fight in him. Several warriors took the time to try and push him with little teases to see if they could push a button. Despite himself, Baykit got a little annoyed during these times. Partly he wondered why everyone seemed to want themselves, or others to be something different. So naturally he came to spend a lot of time amongst the senior warriors and elders. The were kind and seemed to want no more then fulfill they’re duties and return to they’re families. He also began to hang around the elders. Though he sensed they regretted being old, he also felt they’re serene comfort. These cat knew who they were and had to regrets about it, perhaps it ways they who taught Baypaw to be proud of himself. He never tired to be more then he was and when apprenticeship came, lumped with the twins, he couldn’t have been more exited.
APPRENTICSHIP: This to has proven to be extremely typical for the newly named Baypaw. He couldn’t help note how grumpy the older twins were when all three cats were awarded the ceremony together. Unfortunately the pair seemed to feel even worse with little him right next to them. For once Baypaw didn’t try to help. If they couldn’t capture the day, it was they’re problem. He for one loved the sound of his new name and looked forward to what his warrior one would be. Bayheart . . . . Bayclaw . .? He was so exited! The only thing that stands in his way currently is a mentor. Baypaw wasn’t given during his ceremony, he now sleeps in the apprentices den waiting the day a cat will become available. Secretly he hopes the older twins get mentors first. He wants them to feel good about themselves like he does. Baypaw expects things will play out how they do though. He can’t wait to begin training certainty his new mentor will have a energetic eager learner on they’re paws.
