{ Angelique } The world was silent, so it seemed. Nothing stirred, nothing made a sound. All was still in the land of the night. Everything cloaked in darkness but the few flickering stars that were left in the sky. Dawn would soon come and spread its light onto the seemingly frozen land. And there n the woodland by the barn, slept a female. Nestiled gently inside a brable berry bush. Her pelt was the color of winter snow and was easily visible against the green of the grass and leaves. Her eyes softly closed in a pleasant sleep. Her petite frame curled up into a tight ball. Her long tail gently making a circle around the slender female. Her ears were flat against her head dreamily.
But as normal the sun slowly tipped over the horizon. And the light was released from its capotors and slowly crawled out onto the distant land. The blackness of the night was fading into a pale grey and the stars barly noticable now. As the light madei tway onto the land, everything seemed to come to life. The grass and trees sparkled an emerald green and the rivers trickled onward in a dazziling blue. And as if released from the frozen state song birds began to chirp, and fish splashed along in the rivers. Smaller rodents began coming out of there nests. The skys errie grey fading into a pretty blue as the sun rose to its peak.
The light ran over the den to the white she-cat. One who was named Angelique. Given her name by her former humans many seasons ago. And as if awoken from her trance, her eye lids fluttered open. Revealing a nice amber glow. The female slowly used her paws to rub her eyes. Releasing a soft yawn from her maw. Slowly she uncoiled her body until it was laying straight ahead of her. Her legs instantly stretched outward as she arched her back. Blinking herself awake the female glanced around. Her tail flicked without thought as she crawled her way out of her den.
Slowly she rose to her paws. Her ears flicked upward reveling nice sea shell pink insides. In a small pile near her den were two mice, she had caught the night before. Not being much of a morning cat herself. Turning she walked towards it happy to see it was not taken by night animals. Using her paw she drew a mouse in towards her. Sliding effortlessly onto her stomach she started to tear at the meat. She savored the rich taste of her prey as she slowly nibbled at it. Savoring each bite. " Ahh C'est magnifique." she mewed gently to herself, her thick french accent clearly rung in her chime like voice as she took another bite.

Navarre walked slowly through the undergrowth, the soft grass was still strange with the warm sun. It was always snowing where he lived, more was that his imagination. It didn't matter, he came down the river to be alone, to regain his mind. The latter he did but the former was still to be fulfilled. There were many cats here, too many to count but at least they kept their distance. In fact there was a cat right in front of him. He had been sitting there perfectly still, meditating, for some time now. Without a sound he padded out of the undergrowth and waited to see if anyone would see him. If he had to stay here, he might as well learn to tolerate these ways. He had trouble understanding the other cat's words though, it was heavily accented.

A pair of electric blue eyes were the only things that could be seen of the night black tom Slygaze. He was couched within the undergrowth, staring out across the barn. He had had an all nighter, out exploring and hunting as usual.
He had been out in the forest on his own for about half a moon now. He was twenty-one moons when he was banished, and was now twenty-two. How the time flew...
He wasn't as bothered as he thought he would be when he got kicked out of Riverclan... He kinda enjoyed it out here on his own.
He didn't have to hunt for others, patrol, or even bow his head to any cat! How great was that? Being a rogue was pretty cool. Slygaze smirked slightly at the thoughts of how life would turn out in this place. Of course he couldn't go across the clan borders, unless he was super careful of course. AND, he could even make his own clan, or group and be head leader without having, "Starclan" approve of it.
With all these thoughts going through the tom's head, he decided to head out and join those other two cats he saw by the barn. He wasn't all that social, but he was bored, and he had already had his breakfest acouple minutes ago.
Tail low and head high, Slygaze made his way towards both cats, keeping a steady pace, not wanting to frighten them, it looked like one female, and one male. Perhaps he was intruding? Who cares, if those two were in a relationship they both could go find another spot to be all lovey dovey.
Eyes squinting abit, Slygaze wondered briefly who those two were, one was pure white, the female, a very pretty one at that, and the other some tom-cat whom he really didn't give a hoot about.

{ Angelique } The female lowered her head to take another bite. Her prey half gone now as she nibbled at it thoughtfully. Keeping every piece in her mouth for a moment or so before swallowing. And with that she was already full, most of those in the french culture savored there food, and so got full faster than those who just scarfed it down in one whole bite. The she-cat stared down at her half eaten prey. She did not want to waste it, but she just couldnt eat anymore for now. I'll finish it later she concluded to herself, flicking her tail absentmidedly around her frame. Her ears flicked and she tilted her head to see a tom cat. The female froze, waited a minute and when he was advancing she relaxed slightly.
Pushing herself to her paws she turned her amber gaze on the tom cat. Tilting her head in curiousity. He just seemed to be staring at her, if not that just thinking about something else. She kept her gaze on him for a few moments and then turned away. She had ackowleged him, yes? And if he wanted to talk to her he could, but then was obligated to since she did not speak. And so it was a win win situation, well at least she thought so. Flicking her tail over her paws she lifted her paw gracefully to her lips. Parting them gently she rasped her tounge along it before drawing it over her ears. Another movement and the she-cat turned her head to see yet another tom.
She blinked at him. He was the exact opposite of her. Her pelt was a snowy white, his was midight black. Her eyes were a firey amber his eyes were electric blue. Thinking about it almost made her laugh, but she kept a calm posture. Smiling in a friendly sort of way at the two toms. "Bonjour! messieurs." she mewed gently but then she remembered that most cats in this region did not know french if only but a few. " Pardon, you probably speak english yes?" her french accent clear in her voice as always. She smiled sheepishly sometimes she completly forgot and just started speaking in french. Thats just what seems to happen when your bi-lingual.

Slygaze watched as the white feline looked at the other tom and then to him. She seemed not to know either of them. Were those cats just loners? Probably, this is the main spot loners went to chill or to make a living.
The black tom casually strode over and was met by a sweet accented voice. 'Bonjour! messieurs' This was very foreign to him, he'd never heard a cat talk in that toungn before...
He blinked and didn't answer at first, but only stared at the she-cat with a skeptical and lost expression. 'Pardon, you probably speak english yes?' Atlest she could speak some english. He glanced over at the other tom, wondering if the cat was alive or frozen in time, and then his blue gaze met back with her amber one.
"Yes." He stated cooly, trying to get used to this cat's new form of speech. Not wanting to feel like a total moron, Slygaze decided to be nice for once to a stranger. "I've never met another cat before that has your kind of accent...where are you from?" He asked strightfowardly, head tilting to the side slightly. "I'm Slygaze by the way." He added with a nod, tail flicking back and fourth.

Navarre sat quietly off to the side. The female didn't see him, that was good, but the tom did, that was bad. Whatever they had to say he didn't care. Clan cats and their pesky politics, what a load of hogwash! There was nothing else to do, the few rare moments when even he got bored. But nothing they said concerned him right now, he could barely understand the female cat anyway.

Slygaze didn't smile much, but looking at this very petty she-cat made him atleast smirk slightly. Which was a start to a full blown grin. He paused for a moment and then remembered, "The reason I have a clan name is because I waspart of one, but i'm not a rogue." He meowed lowly, as if saying something that didn't mean a thing at all. These two probably didn't know what a clan was....
The black tom glanced once more over towards the other tom. is that cat made of stone or something? Slygaze thought as he gave the tom a quick odd look. "You okay there, pal?" He asked rather comically, in his own since that is. That cat would probably take it the wrong way, but if he did, it wasn't Slygaze's problem.
He was just glad that this tom wasn't the white she-cats' mate. Who was that guy anyway? He hadn't talked since he got there; maybe just a lonely rogue or loner?

Navarre turned slightly and stared at the tom. "You...are?" he mewed quietly. He hasn't talked in a while, almost enough to make him have trouble remembering words. He stared in stoic silence, he's been alone for so long, he didn't respond to emotions anymore. He didn't get up either, sitting still for so long his paws felt like they were going to fall asleep.

Slygaze had to strain his ears to hear what this tom said. 'You...are?' He made out that, he hoped he didn't say anything else. Because if he did, he wouldn't have heard it.
is this cat def? Slygaze wondered, his expression turning from skeptical to confused. "I'm Slygaze." He repeated in a loud meow so the tom could hear. He blinked and looked back over at the white she-cat, tail twitching.

"I can hear...fine." Navarre mewed again in a stoic tone. Clan cat, without a doubt. "My name's...Navarre." He was starting to get the hang of this speaking thing again. Living alone there is no reason to speak or give a name. Speaking his own name reminded him of his brother Streak's nickname for him: Navi. He shuddered on the inside, to think, being called such a babyish nickname by a hyper, happy-go-lucky sibling like Streak.

{ Angelique } The white she-cat slowly let her amber gaze run over both of the toms. The one in the back confused her, he seemed like a statue in the background. Was she not clear enough? Or did he just not like her at all? She blinked her glowing orbs at the tom before turning her gaze back on the black tom cat. He seemed towalk over with ease towards her. Her gaze locked on his, analyzing his movement, she did not see that devilish glint of the mating process there so she relaxed easily. The memory would haunt her for life.
"Yes."..."I've never met another cat before that has your kind of accent...where are you from?"..."I'm Slygaze by the way."
Angelique nodded, so they spoke only english. She would try to remember that for later on. She smiled at his question gliding her tail over her paws easily. "I am french. Well partly, my mother is french my father is from here. So i grew up with both. So I am as you say, a mutt?" she giggled softly and rested her gaze on the tom cat, he moved even closer. She kept her gaze on him. "Je M'apelle--- oh i mean My name is Angelique. So sorry it is difficult to not speak it at times." she mewed again her voice soft. Her ears flicked as the other tom finally moved.
"The reason I have a clan name is because I waspart of one, but i'm not im a rogue."
Angelique listened silently to the conversation. Her ears perked in an interested way. " Oui, like those on the moors, yes?" she mewed remembering her fathers stories from before when she was still a mere kitten. The sun glinted of the trees and some strands glazed her white pelt. Making it glow. The toms catted briefly to eachother and instead of imposing she just listened. Her head tilting with interest now and then. But sh was mute at the moment. Til it finally came to an end.
"My name's...Navarre."
She dipped her head. "Well its good to meet you both." she mewed in her chime like voice as she looked at them both in turn.

Navarre narrowed his eyes and took a step back, he picked the life of a spy so he could be alone, no other reason. WindClan cat, and a...pet cat? French...he's never heard that language before, he understands Aussie but that's it. "You are a...pet?" he meowed to the white French cat. He kept his voice level but he wasn't sure who he should be wary of.

Slygaze didn't responde to Navarre, not wanting to piss this tom off. He wasn't in the mood to get into any fight right now. But that tom did seem to be....quite odd. As if he didn't know how to talk right!
Listening intently to the white she-cat, who he found out to be named Angelique. Odd names... Slygaze though momently, but then thought that those two probably though he had a weird name as well.
Slygaze found it interesting that this she-cat was part french. She was kind of like him in a way, from two different worlds. He is..or well was half-clan born, his mother from Shadowclan an his father from Riverclan, now his former clan.
He kept the same expression as she finished. "Same to you." He replied deeply, nodding his head. He paused and looked to Navarre, who at the moment decided to start talking alot now. He listened to what he had asked and nearly rolled his eyes.
of course she's a pet cat..or...probably was, but now it looks like she's a loner. The black pelted tom thought irritably, remaining silent now.

Angelique looked at the two tom cats with interest as they looked at her. Almost as if she was from some distant planet. Maybe they were all just curious about eachother. Her white fur caught inthe breeze and she closed her eyes to savor it. "I love mornings, so cool and calm. Its relaxing." she mewed gently and opened her amber hues at the tom cats. She smiled lightly at them, they seemed to be ok toms and maybe they could all be friends. Since there kind of life was rather well, lonely?
Angelique looked up as the tom cat spoke. Her eyes narrowed slightly. "I was one. But im not now. I ran away from my humans and took on the life of a loner, and its suited me rather well." she mewed she wa a bit offended but she couldnt blame them him for asking. And so her gaze relaxed a bit back into a more warm state than before. She pressed her lips into a soft smile and curled her tail over her paws.

From his experience with other cats Navarre could easily peace together a personality based solely on speech. The female seemed like a cat who just wanted to enjoy life, the tom...was harder to figure out. These two where starting to bore him and he'd rather waste his time somewhere else as he prefered being alone to anything. With that he stalked off into the undergrowth without a word
