Apprentice[/u]: "From now until she recieves her warrior name this apprentice is Ivypaw and her mentor will be Flamecloud." Ivypaw went up to her mentor and touched noses with her. Her brother became Twisterpaw and his mentor was Aspencloud while Rapidpaw was apprenticed to Snaketail. Flamecloud quickly took her apprentice out into the forest to learn the boundries of their Clan. First they went to Snakerocks so Ivypaw could know when to stay away. The young apprentice didn't scent anything, but snakes and so they left and went to Sunningrocks. There Ivypaw got her first scent of RiverClan. The apprentice wrinkled her nose in disgust at their fishy smell, but she didn't say anything. She knew that she must smell stinky to the other Clans too.
Warrior[/u]: "From this day forward you will be known as Ivyhawk and the Clan honors you friendship and compassion." These words filled Ivyhawk with pride. She had learned all she could from Flamecloud and she saw her former mentor sitting a little way's away with a slightly puffed chest in pride. Ivyhawk had been Flamecloud's first apprentice and Ivyhawk was glad to have given a good impression to the older she-cat. Rapidpaw became Rapidstrike and Twisterpaw became Twisterfoot. The sun was setting and the three cats began their vigil. It was part of the Warrior Code to stay awake on their first night as warriors to keep and eye out for any danger in the forms of badgers, foxes, and other Clans. Time seemed to pass differently for all three cats. For Ivyhawk it seemed to pass quickly, for Rapidstrike it seemed to go slowly, and for Twisterfoot it didn't seem to be fast or slow. Finally a thin band of pink shown in the sky and the area around them began to get lighter. Finally a warrior came and got them. The the newly named warriors followed the senior warrior to the Warrior's Den and the three of them picked out nests and sank into glorious sleep. Ivyhawk woke later and saw that it was well past sunhigh, but not yet evening. She stood and stretched out her muscles and then headed outside. It was time to begin her warrior duties and Ivyhawk wanted to take them seriously. She has now been a warrior for 4 moons.[/blockquote]Personality:

History // Past:
Kit[/u]: Ivykit was born to Larksong and Shadowheart. Her brother was Twisterkit and her sister was Rapidkit. Their fourth sibling, a brother, was too small to live and so he died and joined StarClan. Ivykit and her siblings barely knew him so they thought nothing of it. Ivykit was always close to her father more than her mother. As soon as she was old enough to open her eyes and start walking she would follow her father everywhere except for out of the camp. Ivykit and her siblings loved to play and they always seemed to find something new to do with every passing sun. When Ivykit, Twisterkit, and Rapidkit were four moons old they decided to sneak away and go into the forest. They wanted an adventure and they knew they wouldn't get in within the camp. They also knew that if they were caught then they would be punished for breaking the code. They entered the forest and began sniffing around and felt the cool breezes ruffle their pelts. Suddenly some bracken snapped nearby and the three kits froze. Was it a fox or a badger? Or was it a dog running from its Twoleg? The three kits didn't want to meet whatever it was, but before they could move their spy hopped out. It was only a small baby rabbit. The three kits relaxed and continued on to let the baby have another day of life. They soon came to some bracken that was too think to go throught, but Ivykit was stubborn and wanted to take the short-cut. Her siblings went around while she went through it. When Ivykit thought all as well she was stopped short by the bush. She strained and strained, but she couldn't move. Twisterkit and Rapidkit both appeared and saw their sister's delimma. They began to pull their sister and after a few moments she came free, but not before leaving behind some fur, skin, and blood. Ivykit yowled in pain and looked at her rear flank. She saw the blood and began limping back to camp. She knew she would be in trouble. She turned to her siblings, "Find another way to enter the camp. Our mother was out of the den for the moment and the other Queen was sleeping. If anyone asks then say you were behind the Nursery making dirt." Twisterkit and Rapidkit nodded and shot away. Ivykit would take all the blame if she had to. The young she-kit limped back to camp and ran into a patrol, "I wanted to explore, but I got caught in some bracken." She pointed with her tail, "I think I've been punished enough for one day don't you think?" The patrol helped Ivykit back into the camp and to the medicine cat's den. Ivykit looked out and saw that her siblings were in the Nursery and they looked worried for their sister. At first the young she-kit didn't understand why, but then she saw her father and mother and they were marching towards her. 'Here we go,' Ivykit thought. "Ivykit what were you thinking? The forest is no place for a kit as young as you! Why do you think kits have to be 6 moons old before they are even allowed into the forest?" "I know I know. You can't blame me for being curious and you know it! How else is a kit to learn NOT to go into the forest if they are stuck in camp the whole time? I think today was a rather painful lesson!" She flicked her tail at the her medicined flank and then turned her back on Shadowheart and Larksong. She looked at the Medicine Cat who nodded his approval and shooed the two older cats away. "That's some smart thinking Ivykit. No kit has ever come up with that before. Because of that I won't say anything about your siblings." The old tom purred at his young paitient and returned his task of putting the herbs and medicines in their correct place, "You'll have a scar, but you should be fine."

It was time to begin her warrior duties and Ivyhawk wanted to take them seriously. She has now been a warrior for 4 moons.[/blockquote]Personality:
Ivyhawk is gentle and caring and loves to help others. She loves kits and wishes to one day have a few litters of her own. Sometimes Ivyhawk does things on her own so she can think for a bit, but she never goes out without bringing something back and a cat always knows when she's out of the camp because they know Ivyhawk. This femme is loyal and extremely sweet. She has not once lost her temper except for when she was 4 moons old after being "punished" for leaving the camp. No cat, besides the Medicine Cat, yet knows that Ivyhawk had not been alone as a kit.Role Playing Example:
She is friendly and loves to go on adventures. She also wishes that she had her apprentice and wants to be a mentor. She wants to pass everything that she learned from Flamcloud onto her new apprentice. Ivyhawk will wait as long as it takes, but one day she knows she will receive an apprentice and then she will be happy.
Sometimes Ivyhawk likes to flirt with the toms of the Clan. Its not too much because she doesn't know if they have mates yet or not, but when a tom says he doesn't like her like that she's hurt, but she understands. Ivyhawk always backs off when a tom says they are not interested or they already have a mate. She does not like to push things and she doesn't like to fight. Ivyhawk tries to solve things through talking, but keeping her claws unsheated. Who knows when a fight will occur and she wants to be ready.
In battles Ivyhawk is fierce and swift. She strikes only to injure and not to kill. Even though there is battle fury in her eyes she still has enough control to aim where she wants and not what her heart wants. Many cats have fleed from Ivyhawk in terror, but they often thank her later for sparing their lives. Ivyhawk now is a little famous because of her compassion to all walks of life, sometimes extened to other animals.
A dark tabby she-cat padded through the forest and breathed in the fresh air. It was dark outside, the way she liked it. The she-cat wanted some time to herself before she went to sleep and prepare for the next day. A rustle sound came from her left and the gray warrior blinked her light leaf green eyes in the darkness. She opened her mouth and drew in breath. The she-cat shook her head and called out, "Rapidestrike you need to be more silent if you want to scare me one day." The rustling stopped and at first Ivyhawk thought she had been wrong, but then her sister appeared from the bushes and sat next to her sister, "Sorry, but I wasn't trying to scare you, Ivyhawk. You scared me because I like to come here and think." Ivyhawk gave a purr of laughter, "Really? Then we must have been closer then we thought." The two she-cats laughed and continued on together. They often enjoyed the company of other cats, but being with their siblings, mother, or father always seemed to make things right. Ivyhawk looked at the bright moon and said, "A Gathering will be here in a few days time. Lets go back to the camp and get some sleep. Maybe we might get chosen for the Gathering this time. We haven't been to the Gathering as warriors yet and I want to see the Clans in a new light." Ivyhawk dipped her head with embarrassment. She always liked to talk, especially when it came to her mother, father, brother, and sister.Theme Song:
Together the two she-cats turned and walked back towards camp... and their nests. Ivyhawk curled up in her nest and watched as her sister quickly fell asleep, but Ivyhawk couldn't sleep. It took awhile, but she finally closed her eyes and let sleep take her. Her dreams were of so many confusing details that she had no idea what they meant. Was StarClan trying to tell her something? If so then what? Ivyhawk would do everything she could to figure it out.
