Description:

Seafang is a van cat, his pelt encompassed in white, save for one patch of silver tabby patterned fur on his forehead and around his ears, and his long tail, dark striped from the base to its tip. His fur is short, and is coarse to the touch, though the undercoat is softer and denser.

His face is triangular, and his ears are typically shaped and sized, only slightly larger than the average. His nose is a deep, almost copper toned pink, darker than that of a pure white cat. He has dark, hazel-green eyes.

His build is slight and long, Seafang is as a whole small, but carried by swift and agile tall legs, and his body is narrow and flexible, making him naturally skilled at dodging and bluffing but inept as an offensive fighter.

He has about the normal speed for any normal cat. Although for some reason even though he is normally speeded he has abnormally long legs for his family it’s strange because both of his parents were both small cats.

Kit Hood: He was born into a family of 4 (him and his three siblings. Not including his parents). He had 1 brother and two sisters. His brother’s name was Pinekit. His eldest sister (him being the youngest of his family) – Hazelkit. Then his other sister – thornkit. The order of his siblings went like this: Pinekit, Thornkit, Hazelkit, and then Seakit. His parent’s names were Chestnutclaw (mother) and Stormcloud (father). His siblings constantly shunted him because always being socially active with the other kits. He was more into learning how to hunt, fight, and command. This made his father quite proud of him. This made his three siblings quite jealous of him. But his sisters ALWAYS had his mother’s attention. This made him a bit jealous as well. And when he ended up getting jealous he also ended up competitive. But almost all of the time his sisters beat him in his mother’s attention. Its not that his mother didn’t love him, but he just wasn’t her favorite kit.

Apprenticeship: When he turned 6 moons old he was given his apprenticeship ceremony along with his three siblings. The leader called his brother – Pinekit up first, his name was now Pinepaw. Next his sister Hazelkit was called up and was announced Hazelpaw. Afterwards his sister Thornkit was called up. Her name to be was…….Thornpaw. Then last, but certainly not least, Seakit was called up. The leader made her same old speech about how wonderful the kit was and how each earned their name. Then finally she got to the naming his name was to be……………Seapaw! He was so excited! He absolutely loved and adored his new name. Even though every apprentice had paw at the end of their name. His seemed SPECIAL. Next they were assigned their mentors. Pinepaw and Thornpaw were apprenticed to Willowstrike. Then Hazel paw to Cloudtail. And finally Seapaw to Murkyclaw.

Warriorship: Finally! His day to become a warrior was here! He went to stand next to the leader with his siblings. The leader started off with her usual speech for a naming ceremony. She then started out with Thornpaw. She said Thorn paw’s new name would be Thornclaw. Thornclaw, now newly named happily leaped off the announcement place to stand by her parents. Next was…….Seapaw! The leader said his name was to be vigilant, and that she hoped he would live up to this proud name. She said his name was to be……Seafang! He leaped off the stone with an amount of amazing glee. Hazelpaw was named Hazeltail and Pinepaw was named Pinestorm. This was the happiest day of their lives.

Personality:

Seafang is a relatively calm cat. He’s got a good check on his temper and knows how to keep himself level headed, which aids him in making quick decisions and choosing the right path during tough times. He hardly ever regrets his choices in life, Seafang is sure he made the right ones. Of course he has his little nagging doubts about small things—but the big picture is what’s important.

While he is quick to get annoyed, Seafang can be a very friendly tom to be around. He enjoys spending time with the older warriors and listening to their stories, especially those who were once apart of loner territory. No-ears in particular brings great interest to him. The old tom has gained a high level of respect in Seafang eyes.

Seafang wants power; but with age comes power; Seafang knows this. He knows he’s much too young to be really trusted with any higher position of power than “warrior”. Being a new addition to the clan doesn’t help either. For the time being he’s happy with that title though. Earning the respect and trust of his clan mates is not going to be the easiest task, it will take time; Seafang is patient enough to wait for that time.
