Following Wolfkit, Jackalkit saw Ghost approach. She growled at Wolfkit, who in turn gave her the glare. Then she turned and padded over to him and took him by the scruff of the neck. She padded back over to Wolfkit and and say,I should kill you now,you ungrateful brat! You worthless,you could`ve signed your own deathwarrent, coming into the marshes! Hearing this,Jackalkit started squirming and said,"I`ll claw your fur off before that happens! Don`t you dare even touch my brother!"Knowing that Wolfkit wouldn`t be happy with this comment,he said," Wolfkit don`t you dare complain about me trying to be gallant like the hero in Mother`s stories! Just please,come with Ghost. You know you cannot deny that you are freezing. She can take us to somewhere warm,and dry, where they have food!"

Wolfkit was only half listening to Jackalkit, he was looking at something in the sky. It was a rainbow, funny thing to be out when it hasn't rained in the past hour. Despite his rude, obnoxious out layer for some odd ball reason he can't understand, Wolfkit liked rainbows. And when he saw one, for a split second it felt like everything was right in his world. It was so abrupt and stupid that it made him squirm when he was reminded of it. Turning his attention back to the situation at hand, he ignored Jackalkit's comment because he didn't have enough time to think up a response so he spoke to Ghost. "That was a low blow but fine! Just don't carry me around by my scruff anymore. It feels like the skin is being torn off my head!"

Ghost raised her head to see what the little Kit was looking at, And saw the Rainbow She thought for a moment. She Held Jacklekit in her mouth and rolled her eyes some and laid down. "Alright well you are to small to Walk to camp She set jacklekit down So she could help Wolfkit onto her back. Get onto my back and hang out it will help warm you up as well" she stated She kept Jacklekit close to her So he would not Freeze while Wolfkit climbed on. |

Coyotekit shivered abit, now back on Ghost's back. He kind of figured the other she-cat couldn't carry him, he was the biggest of the three brothers.
I hope we get to that clan fast, it must be warmer than out here! the silver and brown kit thought, amber eyes dropping. He was becoming tired, and all the arguing and blabbering from his brothers were just faint mews to him, obviously it was settling down now.
His thoughts drifted off, thinking about his mother. Where had she gone? Was she ever going to come back? And most importantly, does she even care about them?
Coyotekit loved his mom, and didn't want anything bad to happen to her, he only remembered a tiny bit of what she looked like, brown and... Shoot, he forgot. Well, he did remember her voice, it was soft and soothing. Oh how he wished she were hear right now. He wanted to hear another one of her stories! The one about the brave cat who saved that barn? Or something like that.
Coyotekit's eyes closed and he wondered what this clan they were going to would be like, a nice soft moss bed sounded wonderful right now...

Since she wasn’t helping at all Vinepaw carefully picked her way closer and picked up Jackalkit. The burden of his weight was significantly less then Coyotekits had been and the she-cat didn't feel so bent. Partly it was her fault, since Shadeclaw had become her mentor they hadn't been training. Closing her eyes she wondered if tagging along with another cats mentor would be bad. She did honestly want to do the work and get better; it would be so unfair if all the others became warriors before her! Something would need to be done but now was not the time to think of it, rustling fur caught her attention. Yes! So Wolfkit had finally calmed down enough to let them help him. Everyone looked ready to go.
Swishing her tail, Vinepaws marbled fur rippled as she set off in Shadowclans direction. Being a dark and cold day so far, no shadows brushed her fur and the apprentice quickly disappeared forward. She was ready to be home again, but would there be any more comfort there? They'd just have to get back and see. Pausing, Jackalkit bumped her shoulder as Vinepaw looked back for Ghost. Quietly she faced camp again and set off, she was sure the others would follow.

Wolfkit kept looking at his rainbow, then frowned. Oh well, at least Ghost wasn't carrying him anymore. Things couldn't possibly get any worse. First Mother leaves, and let her stay leave if I can help it. Then some strange cat comes along and tries to drag us back. Ugh, sometimes I wonder if life is really worth living. Wolfkit was so lost in his own gloomy thoughts he forgot to be annoyed.

Wolfkit was at a lost for words for a second, he had to pause for a moment to get his voice back and took all his self control not to stutter. "So what?I don't care anything for Mother's opinion on anything. Give up the tough guy talk Coyotekit, it's not your thing. Besides, I bet you like rainbows too don't you?" Wolfkit however couldn't help feeling a little bit of respect for his usually sweet and kind brother.

"Tch, yeah right, remember that night when an owl woke you up and you wouldn't stop crying until the sun came up? A bird watcher? Hardly!" Wolfkit sneered. Then he let out a rare smile, "I think I already am the weird kit in the bunch. I've never known any kit who's as heartless and ungrateful as me. I'm not always proud of it, it's just how I am you know?" Wolfkit's rainbow was gone by now and iwth it were his temporary light thoughts and antics.

Ghost had Wolfkit and Coyotekit on her back. And she was following Vinepaw back to Shadowclan Camp. She listened to the two kits Chattering away. And she smiled She was careful how fast she went so she would not Jar them to much. |
