lost and alone....{open}

A brown and silver tabby could be seen faintly amung the under-brush, it's pelt not all too clean. It was dark and cold out, and the kit was freezing. It's hair was all sticking up with mud and grass, and it was very skinny.

The tom-kit was not alone though, two other forms were just beside him. His two brothers, but where was the mom? Where was she?
If she wasn't around, that meant, three lonely and abandoned kits...who would save them? It was cold out, and those kits could die if someone didn't come and rescue them.

The brown and silver one let out a muffled cry as he scooted closer to the only warmth, his two brothers.

Seeing Coyotekit shvering with the cold,Jackalkit nudged him closer to him and Wolfkit. " We`re gonna be okay",He said," Mother is gonna come back in the morning." Sadly, Jackalkit didn`t know if he was telling the truth to his brothers or not. "Help!",He yowled, Is anyone there? Help us!"

Ghost was out exploring the lands of her home. The white and grey siamese Persian mixed Shecat. Was enjoying being in the Shadowclan. She felt like she fit in perfectly. she batted at a stone in her way. She was thinking of bringing back some food for Shadowclan. So She began to scout the area. She seen something move. It was a rabbit. She instantly got down into a crouch And shifted her hind legs underneath her. her Sky blue eyes studying her prey that was mearly inches away from her. she shifted her weight again and lept into the air. comming down On the startled Rabbit She bit into its neck and laid her full wait onto the Thrashing beast. her eyes Looked about some. As she felt the life Slowly drain out from the Rabbit. She slowly got off the Rabbit and licked her lips She was about ready to pick up the prey when she heard the cry. She blinked. And moved towards the sound.

Coyotekit shivered some more. "How can you be sure? Mom left us!" He cried, trying to see through the darkness, thinking he saw something coming toward them.
"Do you see that?!" He asked in a high whisper. He ducked lower, scared of what was coming their way.
He nudged Wolfkit, "move your tail!" he sqeaked quickly as he attempted to move even more out of the way.

"I do see that!",mewed Jackalkit,"Over here! Help us! Over here! We need help! Someone! Anyone?"

There it was again she tilted her head slightly. And moved towards the racket. SHe got down into a crouch and peered in through the bushes and Blinked Seeing three kits there. she Lowred herself so she was at their eyelevel. "easy there Little Ones where is your mother?" She asked them

[Sheer]

"Who are you to ask?" The auburn kitten snarled, he didn't want Mother around anymore if she's just going to leave eventually. The stereotype was already fixed in his young mind and the only speck of the good and trustingness that came with a kitten left in him was his concern for his siblings. Aside of that he just wanted them to shut up and stop whining. He wanted to be left alone so badly, the coldness of the cave. It was frightening sometimes and kept him up with vivid nightmares but it also sometimes came as a dream, he wanted the cool solitude more then anything now. Just to be alone without the nuisances in life. Just once! They were stuck in this stinking marsh, he wouldn't have minded the cold so much except for Coyotekit freaking out and Jackalkit trying to be tough. Why were they staying there anyway? If those two hadn't been moaning this whole time Wolfkit would've suggested they actually get off their tails and look for help. But now there was this stranger in front of him. She-cats they're all the same from what he knows, he wanted her to go away. In fact he didn't want her anywhere near him at the time.

Ghost Listened to the Little kit speak. She saw them trembling and she thought for a moment. she frowned and raised her head looking around for the mother. The kits were going to freeze to death if she did nothing. They were only what? a week or two..? SHe crouched down And crawled under the Brambles And into the Den. She Curled herself around the Kits Trying to help them get warm. she frowned There was no way she would leave the kits here by themselves. THe kits were small enough she could take two in her jaws. Back to camp. She frowned slightly.

Wolfkit bared his teeth and his auburn little body slipped away furiously. What was this strange cat thinking?! "I told you to go away!" He snarled backing up to a rock, if she even came one step closer to him he'll have to bolt. Maybe Coyotekit and Jackalkit wanted a proxy she-cat to help them but he didn't. Random strangers, Mother just getting up and leaving, wasn't that enough for the two weeks he's been alive?! Didn't his brothers go through enough too?! This wasn't right, he wanted to leave right now and go where? Anywhere but here, he wasn't going to be friendly with a stranger, not even for his brothers. He'd rather kill himself then go against his character.

Coyotekit was abit afraid at first of the cat, but then saw that it was only a she-cat. For a second there he thought it was mother, but was wrong.

He gulped and hesitated before letting Ghost try to warm them up. He jumped as he heard Wolfkit complaing. He wanted to yell at his ignorant brother, but was too cold to. He just gave him a quick look, and pressed against Ghost's soft and warm fur. He felt safe, well, atleast alittle safter than before.
"Th-Thank you." He mewed, shivering as he attempted to breath normally. His amber eyes squinted as he let himself relax for a bit.
Why can't my brother act nicer? He's such a meanie! The small kit thought, thinking of his arrogant brother once more.

Wolfkit wasn't the slightest bit surprised, just like Coyotekit to want to be takened in by some stranger she-cat. He wanted to throw up right about now. He stayed tense, if only he knew this territory better he'd run for it right now. He had seen the footprints of a few cats in the mud around here. The same scent on that she-cat, just the same there were probably masses of cats around here. The cool mud beneath his little paws sunk him back into the cold cave, it was hardly understandable why it sometimes came as a dream and and other times as a nightmare. But right about now this marsh was a nightmare with cold seeping out on the edges. But he didn't need another cat to keep him warm, if he just got off the mud, the chill would go away.

"Wolfkit do you want to die?! If you do,you can go,but if you want to live,and not be cold forever,I highly sugest that you get your behind over here!" ,Jackalkit growled," Otherwise shut your muzzle. do you really want to scare Coyotekit and I to death? We want our brother with us forever. Nothing in this world can EVER change that! We love you too much. So, even if mother doesn`t come back,we still can see what this cat can do for us."

Ghost Listened to the the kits squable and she rolled her eyes slightly She heard the little one say Thank you and she turned her head and gently Licked him. "Your welcome" She said. She nuzzled both of them and then stood up She moved over to the one called Wolf kit and lowred her head. And gently picked him up in her jaws. She then Moved back over to The other two and curled up around them. "Get warm little ones Then We will go to a new home" she said.

Wolfkit snarled inwardly, why in this world or beyond did he have to be so attatched to his brothers? Was this a sibling thing or was he just weird like that. It must be a sibling thing. "Alright fine! But I walk on my own paws, is that reasonable enough?!" he tore away from the she-cat landing on his tiny auburn paws. He always hated being carried by his scruff even before Mother left. It felt like the skin was being pulled off his scalped and it pulled his ears back too. It's like forcibly taking off your pelt. Horrible! Where ever we're going I don't want to be there. But the question now is where ARE we going? he thought miserably. "You're taking us to more cats...aren't you?" he mewed the same unfriendly tone still lacing his voice. If he was right then this just wasn't his day.

"I`ll Walk too",said Jackalkit,"I don`t want to be a burden to you. Coyotekit is the coldest. You should carry him. And thank you for helping us." Jackalkit turned,not waiting for an anwser from the she-cat. Then he thought of something and froze.," What is your name. I dislike not knowing it. Then I can really talk to you!"Jackalkit bounced around,without a care in the world.
