Description:

Short, silky gray and silver pelt with dark brown, almost black, stripes. She has white paws and deep green eyes. Her chest is a light gray color and her muzzle is silver. There is a hint of black on her tail at the tip. Spirit has bright eyes full of emotion and fire. Her body is lean and lithe and very good at getting into small spaces. Her paws are small and dainty. Her claws and teeth are razor sharp and ready for battle. Her eyes are sharp like a hawk's and she has a body good for leaping and jumping. Her head is heart shaped and dainty. Her tail is often wrapped around her paws in a calm, quiet way. Her silver and gray fur shines like a silver fire in the moonlight and looks really pretty in certain light. Her eyes shine like bright stones when light shines on them right.

Spirit was born to Lily of the Water and Hawk That Soars Freely. Her sisters were Snow That Gently Falls and Spring That Gently Ripples. Her only brother was called Lion High on the Mountain. Her mother, Lily, and father, Hawk, raised their three daughters to be gentle creatures and to never turn away a cat in need. She grew into a generous young cat. She always played with her sister and other kits her age. She used to look up at the stars each night, but now she is focusing more on the role she was chosen for, Preyhunter. Spirit has always been adventurous and tries to do as she is told. One day while sniffing around not far from the entrance to her home a hawk flew overhead. She lifted her head up and saw the bird. Her eyes had widened and she stared back at the entrance and made a run for it. The hawk swooped low and squawked when Spirit made it inside safe and sound. Spirit had then called out an alarm and the Caveguards quickly responded. Spirit's mother, Lily of the Water, had been watching her daughter the entire time and knew that she was just sniffing around just outside the waterfall. Of course Spirit That Flies High was punished and wasn't allowed to leave the confines of the cave for a moon. The young she-cat sat inside like a good cat and was released from her punishment early. Now all Spirit has to do is earn her name and be a Preyhunter. She hopes to do her best and be a good asset to her Tribe. Shortly after her 5th moon came a sad time for the Tribe. Lily of the Water had gone hunting and slipped to her death. Spirit had been especially close to her mother and mourned the most. For the next few days the young she-cat sat around moping like a mewling kit, lost in the mountains. The she-cat didn't know what she would do without her mother. Her siblings Snow, Spring, and Lion all tried to cheer their sister up, but to no avail. Just as Spirit was getting better and becoming happier again was when another sad thing occured. Hawk vanished without a trace. Spirit thought her father died and joined her mother, but she hasn't dreamt of him since he disappeared. Either Hawk was dead or he simply just left the Tribe. Spirit wants to find him one day and tell him good-bye.

Personality:

Spirit is gentle and curious. She loves to explore things, but she doesn't like to wander too far from her Tribe. She knows she is young and she doesn't want to mess up her chances of becoming a full member of her Tribe. The young she-cat knows when she needs to stop and when not to stop. Sometimes she goes a little farther just to see what a cat's reaction is to whatever she is doing. Sometimes the cat snaps at her and sometimes the cat just ignores her. After a few moments of this Spirit leaves, bored. Spirit is also friendly and sweet-tempered. She rarely gets angry and when she does her temper is fiery which makes her shine like fire. Spirit doesn't like fighting, but she will fight when it comes to saving her Tribe. She knows she is a preyhunter, but she learned a few caveguard techniques that she knows will help should a mountain lion appear. Spirit also comes up with some crazy and worthwhile ideas. She presents them to Stoneteller and hopes that he/she accepts the idea. If not then Spirit knows she did her best and that it was all she could hope for.
