Here the noble leader of Thunderclan makes their den in the base of the highrock. The entrance is covered with a thick curtain of lichen, which conceals a spacious cave.

Goldstar entered her den weary, hoping she would get a good nights rest, for once. Shed had a hard day and she was desperate for her rest. She got comfortable in her nest and closed her eyes...
"Goldkit! ... Get me something to eat! I sad get me something to eat NOW" she heard her fathers voice call, she didnt know how to hunt. How was she supposed to get her father something to eat when she was already bone-tired and starved, and she couldnt even hunt yet? She crawled around wondering what all the smells around her where and how she should go about hunting. She was getting distracted by all the new smells, and the new things to see. She was exploring..She found herself where she had been sleeping, adn where her father was again. "Wheres my dinner?" he demeanded. "I...I cant hunt!" she mewed exasperatedly. She saw her fathers paw swing toward her...
Goldstar jerked awake, finding herself in her den again, relieved that her father wasn't back but daring not to go to sleep again.

Rainstorm slinked towards the den, she felt a little nervous in the event of disturbing her leader but some matters had to discussed, patrols deployed and so on. The silver and white tabby she-cat knew Goldstar had been extremely weary, Rainstorm herself felt the weight of her responsibilities as deputy at such a young age. She was eighteen moons now and at times she felt she struggled to stay abreast of the constant changes. Her murky green eyes studied the curtain of lichen as she tried tried to wrestle on whether to wait for Goldstar to appear herself. The base of the high rock, where the noble leader of Thunderclan would always make their den was in front of her. Rainstorm knew one day she might become leader if something happened to Goldstar she may replace her although she sincerely hoped nothing of the sorts would happen. She was happy being second in command to the ginger coloured she-cat who was not much older then her, only seven moons really separated them but Goldstar seemed wiser for her age.
Deputy, she loved the word, she was proud of the word. The day she became deputy was thrilling because she had rose above and surpassed her parents who were good warriors but not excellent warriors to be remembered. Her thoughts drifted back to her leader, the sweet natured ginger she-cat had many different elements to her which made her fascinating to ponder on, Rainstorm enjoyed fascinating things.

Goldstar had been sitting there awake for a long time, she was still exhausted but she couldn't let herself go to sleep, her heart was still pounding from the dream she had. She wished Starclan would just let her forget. She prayed she would forget someday, but she knew she never could. It was getting close to morning, she noticed. She sniffed the air, and smelled Rainstorm outside. Why is she standing there? she wondered, if she wanted to talk to her she should just come in. She sighed and waited for Rainstorm to enter, than she thought better of it. "Rainstorm what is it?" she mewed, sighing. She wished starclan could be nice enough to just let her forget her past, but they wouldnt do that, she just had to deal.

Rainstorm may have almost started but she replied quickly."I'm sorry for bothering you Goldstar but patrols have to be sorted and I thought you'd like the input." She said gently towards her leader, something seemed a little off but it was not for the she-cat to pry into her leaders affairs. Rainstorm entered slightly embarrassed at having lingered outside, it was unbecoming because it showed indecision. It was shameful to her. The silver and white tabby suddenly felt weary beyond belief as her mind taxed itself to work out vague patrol set-ups to suggest to Goldstar. She was tired.

Goldstar couldn't help yawning. She had to admit she was tired, she decided she should go on a patrol herself. "Ill go on a patrol if you want" she wanted to, badly. "So any suggestions on who set ups for patrols?" She couldn't seem to think of anything but her kit-hood, she didn't let herself shudder. She hadn't yet gotten her full mask on for the day, she was a bit to easy to read for her liking, but she had to deal. It was her deputy, she had to understand if she found out.

Goldstar glanced around her den. She had not seen Rainstorm since that day, she had had to appoint a new deputy, she wondered where rainstorm was. It bugged her that she just disappeared, someone she trusted. Was it by force or was it by will? She wanted to know. She needed to know. If it was by will than Rainstorm never had deserved the deputy position, she could not know.
She decided to go out and see how her clan was doing, she hadn't talked to any of them for awhile now, and that was something she needed to do. She may hate it but she had to, as a leader she deserved it to her clan. Her clan meant so much, she went through so much for them, for Thunderclan. She sighed, wondering what would happen next, the forest hadn't had much going on, but would it stay that way? It never did...
