Finally!
As the last of the leaders spoke at the gathering, Sootpaw turned and washed his tail. It took forever for the gathering to end! Considering this was Sootpaw's first gathering, why did it have to be so....boring?
well, I hope the other gatherings ain't as dull as this one was. The grey and white apprentice thought as his ears flicked away a firefly. He finally stood up and stretched, he had been sitting there for quite awhile.
Looking toward the rock, Sootpaw saw that Flystar had jumped down and was heading for the exit to ShadowClan territory. He let out a sigh, and began trotting across the clearing, with cats from different clans padding about. His nerves had gone down when the gathering had begun, that was good, maybe next time he won't be so nervous!
The tom's green eyes wandered upward as he stared at Silverpelt. It showed luminously across the dark blue sky, the stars twinkling and the full moon showing brightly. He was so engulfed in the look of his ancestors home among the stars that he wasn't paying attention at all to where he was going and ended up bumping into someone. He tumbled down, dragging the rather small cat he ran into with him.
Sootpaw barely had anytime to think when they both crashed into a bramble bush away from where the other clan cats were departing. fox-dung! He cursed to himself, smooth move! Sootpaw felt his ears heat up in embarrassment as he attempted to tangle himself out of the limbs of the cat he had run into. "..Sorry." he mewed timidly, hoping the cat wasn't too mad at him...
[let it begin! xD]

Well that had to be the lest interesting experience ever. Crouching down in a small ball the toms mulit-striped pelt hid him well under the four oaks shadows. The tom cat was stone still accept for his bright yellow eyes. They were watchful of the other cats, following there trails away from the meeting place warily. Ridgepaw didn’t like it here. The place was stuffy with everyone else and was far to crowded for him. Why had Charredstar let him come anyway? The leader couldn’t like him enough to do it out of good will. No, absolutely no one in his clan liked him so that wasn’t it. Probably just because it was expected of apprentices to come here.
Good riddens to that. He for one had no love for clan cats within or outside his clan, especially for warriors. Traitorous eyes grew cold as he thought about them. Once most the cats were gone then Ridgepaw figured he’d follow. No need to go bumping against everyone and getting bruised some more. His shoulder still ached from that badger attack. A Thunderclan warrior passed close and with his pelt prickling madly the small tabby got up fast and tried to dart away.
Instead he got a nose full of fur. Hissing blindly he lost balance and with a short struggle fell to the ground. Immediately he was aware how close this other cat was, Shadowclan sent made his eyes water. Probably another warrior not watching where they were going! Thrashing a bit and pulling his paws free, Ridgepaw scampered back and faced the other cat. Watch were your going! he growled lowly, the fur on his back stuck up at odd angles. To his right Ridgepaws shoulder pounded some from the impact. But he was righted again enough to focus on the cat before him.
Another apprentice! His brow’s furrowed slightly, off all the types of cats, Ridgepaw respected hard working apprentices the most. They weren’t as big headed as warriors. Biting his tongue, the tom cat tried to actively convince himself to go against his nature and be nice. For a heartbeat it nearly worked and then he was back to his old self, completely shielded off from the world. To tired to walk straight? Or are you guys just starving? He sounded mean and pretty gruff, Ridgepaw kept his opinions to himself mostly. This burst was surprising him, it was more then he usually spoke to his own clan!

Sootpaw scrambled up right when he heard the tom speak.
'Watch where your going!'
Turning to look at the cat, Sootpaw saw an angry looking tabby tom with yellow eyes. His eye-brow rose half way up as he stared at the tom's ruffled shoulder fur. By the look and sound of the cat, he was probably an apprentice like himself.
Windclan. He thought as he smelled the tom, green eyes narrowing as the tom looked at him oddly.
'To tired to walk straight? Or are you guys just starving?'
Sootpaw was taken aback by the tom's rough comment. who is this cat? Sootpaw wondered, sudden anger burning in the pit of his stomach.
"It was an accident." He started off calmly, but through clenched teeth. He didn't want to fight with this cat, he wasn't one to talk meanly. His tail swished and he shook his pelt, and then stood up straight looking at the tom. He was taller than him, and it looked like he was older; this cat looked to be barely six moons old! His eyes were hard as he stared the apprentice in the eyes.
Being one of the nicer Shadowclan cats, Sootpaw blinked, his hard gaze softening abit, but still holding a defensive glint. "I'm Sootpaw." He started, paws shifting. "I'm sorry for bumping into you. I wasn't paying attenion." He mewed, trying to be nice, but his voice came out sounding irritated. Why shouldn't he be? He was just insulted by an apprentice of another clan! Did it look like he was starving? He was probably one of the healthiest apprentices in the clan, and plump at that. This Windclan cat looked abit scrawny though; but didn't all Windclan cats?
Sootpaw sat down and waited for the cat to respond, not expecting one, this tom obviously didn't want to be bothered. I bet all Windclan cats are rude like him. He pondered, his face twisting up in a small smirk at his thought. His forest green eyes glowed as the moon shined down on both their pelts, turning Sootpaw's grey patches silver.

~Feather~
~First~
Featherpaw sighed, her first gathering was over. It was exiting at first, the news was boring, but the scents were amazing! Meeting the medicine cats again like at the medicine cat meeting was great, everyone was as nice as before.
The meeting was fast and many cats didn't quite feel leaving yet. Featherpaw looked around the clearing for some apprentices to talk to. At first she didn't find anyone but then she saw two cats talking, both apprentices.
Featherpaw trotted over just in time to hear what was going on, they were fighting. 'Watch where your going!' she heard one cat mew. The other one looked like he was holding something back.
~Stop~
A few more hated words were spat and Featherpaw knew something might happen. She stepped forward, unsure what to do.
"Please don't fight." She said quietly, not wanting to get in the middle of it. The cat from Windclan looked almost... shocked? The Shadowclan cat looked frustrated and ready to pounce.
Featherpaw's silver-gray fur shook, fights should not be started at gatherings. Her icy-blue eyes shinning with worry.

An orange and white colored tom-cat could be seen crouching near the berry bush on the opposite side of the gathering spot. Hazel eyes misty and calm as the moon shown over-head.
Blazepaw watched as the gathering ended and cats started to depart. It had been a rather ponderous gathering, with the leaders talk short and sweet, not spreading any juicy rumors, or threats this time; which was good, but what made gatherings enjoyable were those types of speeches.
The young medicine cat apprentice stood up and stretched, his tail curling upward as he stared across the clearing. He noticed at once as two cats collided with each other, each tumbling over into a bramble bush. ow, that must have ruffled their furs. Blazepaw inquired, as he stood there silently staring curiously over at both cats. One was tabby colored, and another was white and grey, obviously, they were all from different clans.
Blazepaw stiffened as he saw the fur along the tabby's fine ripple and saw the angry glint in his eyes. Even though the gathering was over, their didn't need to be any fighting. The other tom seemed less into fighting, but his fur did prickle along his shoulders, probably giving a warning.
Sighing, the tom decided he better go break it up. They were just two apprentices, how hard could they really be to make amends with? Blazepaw padded swiftly through the lessening crowd of cats and headed up the clearing toward both cats.
As he walked her noticed a third cat, coming toward the beginning fray. Is that Featherpaw? At once he recognized the young medicine cat apprentice, her grey fur shining under Silverpelt, making it appear silver. He couldn't have but gaze at the Windclan she-cat, she was a very pretty cat indeed. She walked with a briskness, and her eyes showed worry. She doesn't want a fight breaking out either..
Blazepaw picked up the pace and came up beside the grey and white tom just as he heard Featherpaw's soft voice. 'Please don't fight.'
Blazepaw stood, tail twitching back and fourth slowly as he looked at both toms, he could smell their anger ripple off their pelts like heat-waves as he examined them. "There's no need to fight here." He meowed calmly to them, his eyes traveling until they met Featherpaw's ice blue ones curiously. His whiskers twitched as he stared at her and then tore his gaze away, feeling alittle uneasy. Her eyes were very sharp looking, almost intimidating to look at, but not in a bad way. Yes, it was just her gaze, nothing else.
He stared at the tabby apprentice first, seeing that this tom had the most anger surging in him. He wondered if Featherpaw had any kin in Windclan...could this cat be one..? why do I care? Blazepaw thought, hazel eyes still fixed on the tom.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Sootpaw paused as two cats came up, his tail stuck out straight as he stiffened, not knowing if these cats were the tom's buddies or not, come to pick on him. Relief flooded him as a silver-colored she-cat padded up, asking them not to fight. "We weren't going to fight." he stated at once, eyes meeting the she-cats' briefly. His eyes then flashed behind him as the other came up beside him. He scented Thunderclan scent on him strongly and then realized that the she-cat was of Windclan just like the tabby.
His fur started to lie flat as he relaxed, seeing that they were all apprentices. "I'm Sootpaw, of Shadowclan." he meowed to the two new-comers, tail twitching as he avoided the brown tom's yellow eyes. These other two cats seemed friendly enough.

Being prideful had some sever disadvantages. Ridgepaw picked up the other toms irritated tone. It wasn’t like he’d been the one not watching his step! This guy had hit him first. Suddenly he was chastising that earlier thought of being nice. How mouse brained he would have looked saying sorry to some cat like this. The very idea that he’d even considered it made Ridgepaws stomach churn. He wouldn’t let anyone go around embarrassing him no matter what. Doing it to himself though, that made the feeling all the worse. Ready to give a retort, his voice was lost as another cat made themselves apparent and spoke first.
The voice was still new in his memory, Featherpaw had been there when the hunting party returned. No surprise she didn’t want any fighting, guess who’d have to clean it up? Previous emotion slipped from his face to form a plain unreadable mask. Only Ridgepaws eyes showed any feeling yet the air about him still felt tense, mostly that was directed at Sootpaw. Already the tom could tell this wasn’t a cat he’d be getting along with. In fact after hearing him, Ridgepaw had been already to start a fight. He was known for doing that often back in Windclan. If someone had something to say Ridgepaw wanted it said to his face so he’d know who to challenge.
Then another cat padded over and this time the bright ginger pelt gave him away as Thunderclan before the new sent hit. Like Featherpaw the hazle eyed apprentice smelled faintly of herbs. The way he noticed Featherpaws silvery form confirmed Ridgepaws suspicions, they knew each other for sure. They both were against fighting and look who was quick to join in. After getting all angry Ridgepaw wasn’t interested in fighting anymore. It wouldn’t be worth it here, he would rather just get home. None of these cats would like him, that was for sure so there was no reason to stick around. Besides he had nothing to say to them.
But his paws felt glued to the ground. Sure he felt like leaving, all these cats hanging around talking was a terrible way to end the day, but Ridgepaw still didn’t move. Partly he still wanted to watch and see what kind of cat Sootpaw was. Often he did that, just watched other cats and didn’t do anything. Speaking was what got him in trouble as a kit most often. Now he knew to be quiet, so for now Ridgepaw didn’t bother. If he spoke it would be against the cat who’d bumped into him and everyone else was against a fight so that wasn’t wise. Instead he sat back on his hunched after scooting back a step and waited.

Featherpaw watched as Ridgepaw looked like he was going to ignore her plea. There can't be fighting at a gathering, there cant be! Feathertook a deep breath and was about to say something else before she smelt another cat coming her way. She jumped at the voice of Blazepaw, Thunderclan's apprentice medicine cat. She realized that he to did not want a fight. She was glad, the last thing her clan needed right now was another fight. Ridgepaw was just healing from this wounds before! (Is that right?) Everyone back at camp knew her for being quiet and soft, but these cats were about to learn a different side of her if they didn't settle down. When Blazepaw's eyes met hers her legs suddenly went wobbly and felt like chewed up juniper berries. What was happening. She looked away from the Thunderclan apprentice and down at her legs. Why won't you work? She felt like screaming at them. She sat hard and fast on her unusable legs are felt unbelievably dizzy. A gasp came out of her mouth, short and silent, she hopped no one noticed her little problem. Sootpaw, the Shadowclan apprentice was Sootpaw. Ridgepaw she already knew, being in the same clan. But she didn't know him. Ridgepaw usually kept to him self and was quiet. It was a shock it self that he was so hostile a moment ago. Featherpaw shivered from the cold and scrunched her self closer together to get warm. Oh what she'd give to be in her warm den right now. Finally Ridgepaw decided to calm down, though no words came out of his mouth. He sat down and watched them. Featherpaw wanted them to apologize before they had to leave but she was pretty sure that wasn't happening. She looked over at Blazepaw one more time and once again she felt weak. What was happening to her? She was a medicine cat, she should know what was going on. Worry flashed through her eyes, as visible as a bright red rabbit on the moor.

A think yellow cat slipped out from behind a tree, it was about time the grownups left. Their gathering was so predictable. They jump up on a rock, say that everything is super in their clan, comment on the weather and then leave. So predictable
Vaguepaw's yellow fur stood out like a fire in the night, and even now among other apprentices he still felt self concious. Hopefully this gathering would be a little more interesting. Still predictable though, apprentices tend to boast and brag more. And...let out more information about their clans...

Blazepaw saw that the tabby apprentice wasn't going to say anymore. wise.. The tom thought as he decided to make himself comparable, despite the cool breeze that blew around the group of apprentices. Blazepaw sat down and drew his tail over his white paws, ears twitching.
Eyes wandering to the faces of the apprentices, Blazepaw noted that he indeed only knew Featherpaw; thanks to them both being medicine cat apprentices, they had already met at the half-moon meeting. His nose detected another cat among them, and he looked to see a bright yellow tom-cat pad out from behind a bush. At once he scented the fishy smell of a Riverclan cat.
Blazepaw blinked at the tom, seeing this cat was an apprentice as well as the rest. What is this? An apprentice after gathering? Blazepaw wondered, looking at Featherpaw again. She was the only one he knew in this crowd of clan cats of course.
Waiting for some cat to speak, Blazepaw fluffed out his fur, trying to keep warm as another gush of air blew against his tabby fur. After a beat, Blazepaw finally decided to introduce himself. "I'm Blazepaw by the way." His eyes roamed to Sootpaw's green ones and he commented, "You look like you've been in training awhile. Is this your first gathering?" He asked the tom, suddenly curious. At least the fighting had ended, it seemed that the tension was softening as well.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Sootpaw felt awkward, he was the only one that had introduced himself. It wasn't against the rules to introduce yourself was it?
Sootpaw brushed the thought off. Of course not, he was just being polite. Unlike some cats. The two colored apprentice scented a Riverclan tom nearby and glanced over to see a pale ginger apprentice. His eyes came back to the darker ginger one as he spoke.
"Yes this is my first gathering. And yeah, I've been in training for about two moons now." He blinked softly at Blazepaw, glad he asked. "Your a medicine cat in training aren't you?" He inquired, he could scent the herbs on the tom's pelt, and only medicine cat carried that scent, no matter what clan they were in.
His eyes then went to the silver speckled she-cat, "You are too, I can tell because you both have herb scent on you." He meowed, smiling crookedly. "That must mean you two must know each other." He purred, sitting down now, and drawing a paw over his ear thoughtfully. Sootpaw couldn't help but be so relaxed with these cats, since their was a truce, why shouldn't he? But in the back of his mind, he had the memory of his mentor telling him that the truce only lasted for the full moon. Later on they might meet in battle, and who knows what kind of feelings their have for one another then...
Blinking away the thought, Sootpaw waited calmly for either medicine cat apprentice to respond.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Blazepaw smiled smally at Sootpaw and nodded. This cat was bright, total opposite of the other tom. He looked back at Featherpaw with a glint in his eyes. It must be nice to stand out like this. To be noticed as the medicine cat, or at least the apprentice. That was what Blazepaw liked about being a medicine cat in training. Separated a cat from the ones in training to be warriors, their were so many apprentices in training to be warriors, but their were only some that stuck out. Besides the elders of course, they had a scent all their own!
Blazepaw grinned at his thought, thinking back to that day he had to help one with a thorn stuck in their bedding. Elders sure did complain alot...and to imagine, one day he'll be like that! Purring to himself, Blazepaw's eyes went back to Sootpaw's, thinking this cat was easy to get along with. The tabby apprentice waited for someone to speak up, content right now with the light conversation going on. No thoughts of following his own clan back crossed his mind, they probably wouldn't miss him if he stayed alittle longer anyway. He knew his mentor wouldn't mind him gone, his mentor barely even noticed him anymore...
As he watched Featherpaw, he wondered why she still looked nervous. Was this her first gathering...? He blinked at her, and tried to read her blue eyes. Surprisingly it was easier to stare into them now, now that he was more comtorable. Why am I suddenly so interested in her..? Blazepaw wondered as he attempted to understand his own curiousity. It's natural for a fellow medicine cat to wonder about another. He told himself as he countined to stare at her thoughtfully.

Feather's blowing in the Wind Featherpaw looked at the other gray and white cat sitting across from her. He seemed nice enough now that he'd calmed down. The Ridgepaw remained silent and watching. He was often like this around camp. Silently taking everything in. Featherpaw ignored her legs wishes and stood up more straight. The wind was ruffling her fur and making her cold. Shivering she started to lick her shoulder in atempt to warm her self. She could feel Blazepaw's eyes on her and she knew she should say something. Featherpaw blinked her blue eyes and paused. "I'm Featherpaw," She mewed. Trying "It's my first gathering. How about you?"to make conversation, it just made her sound like a kit again. She looked down at her paws, trying to disapear. This was so embrassing, she wasnt used to this kind of talking. Most people she knew were in her own clan. Medicine cats were easier to talk to then apprentices and warriors from other clans! She wanted to go home but she remained were she was. This wasn't time to be chickening out. She pirked her ears. The clearing was getting quiet, had everyone left already? The wind ruffled her ears and she just remained to sit with her head bowed, eyes down. Demons stalking through the night Demonpaw watched as the gathering finished. It was such a boring gathering. Most were more interesting than this... right? Demonpaw streched his aching bones and walked around the clearing, not much was happening. Most cats were walking around, talking to old friends or new friends. Demonpaw noted that there was a large group of apprentices over to his left. He eyed them for a few minuets before walking over to join them. Demonpaw walked close their group and listened to the Shadowclan cat speak, and then Blazepaw, medicine cat of Thunderclan spoke. And another cat, someone from Windclan spoke quietly, too quiet to hear. Demonpaw flopped himself down near the group, trying to act normal and casual, sadly hopping he could join the conversation. He needed to make friends in all clans, do what his father told him to do... become leader of Thunderclan. Demonpaw winced, his father would call him a coward around now. Demonpaw stood up and went into the conversation, hopping to not look like an idiot. There were two windclan cats, a shadowclan cat and a thunderclan cat. All they needed was a Riverclan cat to make it complete. Demonpaw looked at each cat in turn. Only female was Windclan and she looked quite cold. The others looked relaxed. Demonpaw watched as Blazepaw was looking at the cat with something in his eyes. Demonpaw decided to join the conversation. "Hey, I'm Demonpaw." He mewed, looking at the cats in the circle.

Well it felt like a good time to depart. Ridgepaw frowned as another to cats came over, both were apprentices. One cat he could hardly keep from laughter at. That Riverclan apprentice wasn’t going to last long! All the prey in the forest would be able to spot his pelt. He probably got by picking off all the old dieing ones. Then like a true nosey Thunderclanner Demonpaw came over. Good now we know everyone’s name when it comes time to point the tail. He continued to be over critical for a bit when it occurred to him that this anger was because those other cats had interrupted his fight. Why couldn’t Sootpaw fight his own battles? All this thinking made if feel like his tail was twisting in knots. Silently he got up and turned away.
Effortlessly moving his shoulders rippled as he made for Windclans border. But on the way the great rock loomed up. Its large dark shadow he passed under and paused, starring up. Past the smooth stone the stars shone looking not cold and twinkling as usual, but warmer up there, more sparkling tonight. His eyes moved back down to the stone. All the leaders were gone . . . no one he cared to listen to could yell at him. Of course Starclan wouldn’t approve but it wasn’t his intention to be under their guidance forever. Falling back on his haunches, Ridgepaw leaped up.
Immediately milky moonlight washed over his pelt making the black stripes blacker and his underlying silver fur glow. He looked far less like a brown tabby and more like a scrawny Huntstar without the aqua eyes. For a second he wobbled the idea of what he’d done making him dizzy. Shaking the feeling away, Ridgepaw padded to the center and smirked. He stood taller then all the clearing, every corner was visible! Only the small group of mixed cats did he see, hardly noticable under the glare of watchful spotlight of the nights orb. But it wasn’t half as all that as every cat seemed to think it was. High and different, but not unlike any other rock he’d stepped on.
What had he thought would be different though? It was just a stone, nothing honestly special at all. Eyes narrowing he internally laughed. He had nearly been caught up in whatever it was about this rock that made cats avoid leaping upon it. What that was Ridgepaw didn’t know. What he did know though was that this wasn’t special at all.

Sootpaw drew a paw over his ear as he stared lightly at Featherpaw as she spoke. "Hey! Mine too!" He mewed brightly, grinning at the silver she-cat.
"This gathering was pretty dull...well, besides that small fit over that ThunderClan queen and the kits that were born." He meowed on, staring curiously up at the sky, wondering briefly if StarClan were mad about that small disruption during the beginning of the gathering.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Blazepaw's ears twitched as he stared at Featherpaw. Indeed it was her first gathering, he now just remembered. His eyes went back to Sootpaw's as he mentioned Whisperingcreek. He had been thankful that StarClan were giving, her kits were fine when he last checked, and they would soon be in a warm nursery by their mother. "Yeah. That was Whisperingcreek, she was supposed to be back at camp...but you know how expecting queens are..." he meowed, casting a sideways glance at Featherpaw, a smile showing slightly. She knew what he was talking about, atleast he thought she did. She was a medicine cat just as himself, so she would have had to be taught by her mentor about queens.
Blazepaw noticed yet another apprentice come up the group, a ThunderClan cat, one he knew thank StarClan. Eyes showing friendliness, The orange tabby nodded in greeting. "oh, hey Demonpaw." he meowed quietly, shifting in position, smiling at the apprentice.
His eyes snapped to the unknown apprentice from WindClan, and he saw him leaving. well..rude. He thought, having not too friendly feelings for that tom. He could have atleast introduced himself... Blazepaw wondered, eyes once again finding Featherpaw's blue gaze.
I wonder how Featherpaw deals with that tom, I'd hate to have to live around a cat like that tabby. He thought, not really caring where the tom went. Hopefully away, his negative attitude wasn't helping anyone, and he sure didn't want him and Sootpaw to get into another quarrel.
"Seems like we're having a gathering of our own." He stated, letting out a mrrow of laughter at the thought of this. What StarClan thinks of this, he does not know. His eyes went around the small group of apprentices, trying to memorize their faces.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Sootpaw blinked curiously at Blazepaw as he mentioned the queen during the gathering. His face became expressionless as he talked about how expecting queens were. well actually...I don't... He wanted to say, but decided not too, it was probably a medicine cat thing anyway...
Sootpaw's eyes spotted the pelt of another apprentice come up, but he barely had time to say hello. His eyes had gone to the other WindClan tom apprentice. now where are you going? He thought, eyes narrowing as he watched Ridgepaw silently. He heard cats talking, but ignored them for a second, not knowing where Ridgepaw was headed. stupid furball...rudest cat I've ever met! He thought, paws shifting on the cold ground.
He blinked and then saw the ginger tom just a few tail lengths away from his person. "Hey there." He meowed over to the light tabby. "I'm Sootpaw...are you gonna be a stranger, or you gonna come over and chat?" He asked, smiling at the tom, being nice. He then brought his attention back to the others, hearing Demonpaw being mentioned. He blinked in greeting to the ThunderClan cat it smelt like.
He then saw out of the corner of his eye, a feline form jump up on the sacred rocks, the rocks where the leaders of every clan spoke. He whipped his head around to stare at Ridgepaw, his mouth became slightly agape as he watched the arrogant tabby smirk.
Who does he think he is...? Leader?! He wanted to say aloud, but bit back the growl rising in his throat. if he wants to play it that way... The grey and white tom thought, his tail twitching as he stood up and padded casually over to stand just below the high rocks. "Have a name....oh great one?" He asked from below, his white teeth showing as a lopsided grin was placed on his broading face. It was hard to tell if Sootpaw had been joking, or being rude to Ridgepaw, either way, he was gonna find out this tom's name.
Without hesitation, Sootpaw scrambled up the rock, a tail-length down from where the dark tabby sat. He could see almost every stripe on the tom's pelt, for the moon was shining quite heavily upon the apprentice. this is pretty neat! He thought as he got comfortable and sat down slowly, looking over the gathering territory. Everything looked so big from up here! so this is what Flystar sees..? He thought, his fur prickling in excitement as he thought of what it must be like to be up here when the clearing was full of talkative and warm-blooded felines.
He barely even noticed the tabby sitting next to him, for he was too busy gawking. "It's like a bird-eye's view from up here.."He breathed, forest green eyes glowing even more. Because of the moon's light, his grey patches stood out like a kit's blue eyes, making the grey fur appear silvery, as the wind blew past.

Curiosity had gotten the best of her. Charredstar had left her at home and Anguishedpaw had not been happy. So techically she wasn't an apprentice. Big deal! So she set off on her own. So she hadn't quite healed from the badger fight. Ridgepaw still got to go and he'd been even more injured than her. She'd only had a sprained ankle.
When she got there she could smell the scents of cats mingling. Then she saw Ridgepaw. She walked closer to him and examined the cats around her. Two medicine apprentices from the scents on them. The rest of the scents were mingling and she was too excited to figure them out.
"Hey Ridgepaw," she called out, mindful that that surly tom could cut with his tongue as well as his claws. She knew that he wouldn't be excited to see her but she couldn't help but be excited to see another familiar face.
"So what's going on," she asked disguising her excitment. She was usually antisocial but the daughter of an aristocrat had to learn how to disguise her dislike and intial distrust of someone. She had to appear open and yet somehow superior. She didn't think that superiority would impress these cats however. In fact it would probably just tick them off.

Ridgepaws stripes squished together as he turned around and padded over to Charredstars usual seat. He’d realized by now that Sootpaw and the others hadn’t heard his name yet. That was for the best, when it came to getting in trouble he didn’t need his name on anyone else’s tongue to go flouting around. It was so easy to image some mouse brain just blabbing away that Demonpaw and Feather and so on and so on had all stayed late at the gathering. Nope, he would be smart enough to stay out of grumpy leaders ears. Of course their wasn’t much to speak about. His eyes stole past the Great Rocks out line and down to the little group of cats. Both eye Brows raised in amusement. They didn’t look like a dangerous bunch. None had even wanted to fight accept him. That little irritation was going to gnaw under his fur like a tick. And ear flicked casually, he was getting board and their was a long walk back to get threw. If nothing interesting was going on he was ready to be off.
Getting to the ledge behind Sootpaw, Ridgepaw was just about to make his escape when a new cats pelt flashed in the clearing. He squinted and tried to make them out. It looked kind of like Anguishedpaw, but she hadn’t been invited so. . . Starclan! Ridgepaw flinched. Oh yes. That was her voice all right, pretty much waking up all the prey in the forest as she blurted out his name. He’d scampered back to the center of the Great Rock when she mewed, practically leaping away from her. The word was ringing in his ears. Not for the reasons as he’d wanted it to be a secret, but because it was so strange hearing any cat say his name. No one addressed him much in camp. The sound was startling. Mentally he pushed the sock away, Anguishedpaw wasn’t content to leave him alone, her pawsteps signaled her arrival below.
Completely wishing he’d met the plains just a little bit sooner; Ridgepaws face appeared over the edge to meet Anguishedpaws. Well. She at least looked bright eyed for once. Being kept down as a mentorless apprentice was no fun but Ridgepaw wasn’t sure if that was why she kept her distance from others or if it was just in her nature. Being his only den mate, the tom had thought about her occasionally. But he had never shown any interest in getting those random questions answered. She was speaking again, directly at him. How should he know! Nothing was really going on. Some cats were talking and one was star struck and if he didn’t watch himself he’d land in the talking group to.
With a classic Ridgepaw face his nose twitched and rustled his wishers. He couldn’t think of anything against Anguishedpaw, their was no good reason to ignore her. Why done you come up and see for yourself? He mewed down and didn’t sound mean or grumpy at all. His bight orbs narrowed, That is, if your not to scared. The sound of his voice changed to soft of prodding and challenging. Ridgepaw knew darn well Anguishedpaw wouldn’t be a cat to shy away from the great rock. Above his head that long banded tail flicked for her to join them.

Featherpaw watched as Ridgepaw bounded on to the great rock silently, as he landed she winced. That rock was meant for leaders only, not disobeying apprentices bored after a gathering. She nodded to Blazepaw and noted that Demonpaw, the Thunderclan apprentice had joined them. Then she watched as Sootpaw joined Ridgepaw on the great rock. Who else was going to go stand on the rock, with their size about five or six of them could fit, four was spaced out.
Featherpaw's eye drifted to Blazepaw, she shouldn't be thinking this way about him, not another apprentice, not another medicine cat. She winced at her thoughts as they always seemed to drift back to the amazing tom. She batted her head with her paws, she knew this must look really strange, but right now she really didn't care, these thoughts must go, no more staring at the handsome tom sitting next to her.
OOC: We need something really interesting to happen, a fox? Something must happen! Srry for the short post
