Description:

Oakstripe is a dashing tom. Quite the eye-catcher. He has a stunning reddish brown pelt, with lush thick fur, that almost always has alittle ruffle in it. He isn't one to groom alot, only when it's time to sleep, or when he gets up. But with his messy looking fur, he still looks handsome. He has hard muscles rippling under his fur, broad shoulders and head.
His build is lean and muscular, thanks to his many training sessions he had when he was an apprentice, which was just a couple sun-rises ago. His fur is perfect for hunting, making him blend in with the many trees and leaves around the territory, making him just a shadow in the wind.

There is one lone thick dark stripe that runs from the top of his forehead back all the way to his tail tip. His tail is mostly a dark dark brown, going up to the base it fades off to his regular deep reddish brown fur color. His back legs are strong, and his claws and teeth are sharp. He has little tuffs of fur on his rounded ears. Big paws, and a thick furred under-belly, Oakstripe is one healthy warrior.
His eyes are a yellow-green color. Only one cat in the clan looks exactly like him, his twin sister, Foxtail.

Believe it or not, this tom was both born a half-clan cat. His mother was of ShadowClan, his mother, of ThunderClan. He was in a little of four. He has two sisters, and one brother. His litter-mate are all basically the opposite him, except for his twin sister, Foxtail. He and her are best of friends, and always stuck together as apprentices.

His litter-mates and him were taken by their father, to ThunderClan, their mother basically forgotten, since Hawkstare barely went to see her anymore. Hawkstare was a smooth tom, and said he found these kits by the ShadowClan border, and took them in to raise as his own, taking on a new mate of course in ThunderClan, Treesong forgotten.
Oakstripe never got to know his mother all too well...he only remembers her warm fur and soft voice. It was a shame she had to die so quickly...

His other two litter-mates were Darkpaw and Pinescar. Darkpaw got killed due to foolishness. He tried to go up against a badger, but got killed in the process. His brother, Pinescar is still alive, ambitious and mean as ever. His sister Foxtail is a beautiful and gentle queen now, with a litter of kits on the way. She took on a mate when still an apprentice, and was expecting then, her kits will be born later this moon.

Oakstripe's mother was Treesong, and his father was Hawkstare. Sadly, his mother died just acouple moons ago from a bad belly wound. His father is still living, among the senior warriors right now. Oakstripe's father never really loved him, he was quite mean to his kits actually. Except for Pinescar and Darkpaw. Somehow, Hawkstare actually liked them better than he did his twin kits. It was rather ungrateful of Hawkstare, and as a kit and apprenitce, Oakstripe tried to get Hawkstare's eyes to light up like they did for his two brothers..but they never did, they never would. Even when he became a warrior with Pinescar and Foxtail, Hawkstare had congradulated Pinescar over his two other kits.

To this day, Oakstripe still is saddened by this fact of his father not loving him, but knows not to dwell. Hawkstare was a senior warrior now, so he would have to put up with him for a few more moons. Until he goes to the elder's den, and he wouldn't have to see the evil grins from Pinescar about how daddy loved him more. It was sickening, and Oakstripe sometimes hated Pinescar for being so fox-hearted.

Oakstripe was mentored by a now senior warrior named, Silentflame. One of his fathers' best friends, Silentflame was thrilled to be mentoring one the kits of the great Hawkstare. Silentflame was a skilled warrior, more in the arts of battle, than hunting. He taught Oakstripe so much, it was almost saddening to be quiting the training with his mentor. But knew Silentflame was proud of him for becoming a fine ShadowClan warrior.

Oakstripe has been in two battles before his warrior-ship. He was in a battle with WindClan, and one with a fit with RiverClan. Considering he fought in both, he has one battle scar on his right flank, not all too noticeable, but it is definably his first battle scar. No lives were lost in the battles, except for Willowdream, and Hazepaw. Hazepaw was one of Oakstripe's best friends, he was hoping they would become warriors together, but sadly that did not happen... Willowdream was an old warrior, who probably if hadn't died, would have been sent to the elders den for retirement that faithful day.

Knowing what's out there, Oakstripe is proud to be a warrior finally for ThunderClan, and despite the fact that's he's lost close friends and family, he is still strong and will fight for ThunderClan until the end of his time here.

He's been a warrior for some moons now, has not taken a mate, and has not yet to have an apprentice.

Personality:

Daring and Strong---------->

Oakstripe is a very smart and cunning tom, who would do anything to help his clan. He is outspoken and brave, not hesitating to put his life before one of his own clan-mates. This tom knows not boundaries when it comes to doing what is right. He likes to take the more challenging path, aside from the easy one, he just believes that putting his all is what will make him a better cat.
His motive has always been his will to do what is right, and to fight for what he believes in. He is a strong fighter, and will fight with tooth and claw to save his clan, but knows not to go as far as spilling blood for the wrong reasons. He would never kill unless absolutely necessary, he really doesn't want to kill, he also wishes he didn't have to fight. But he knows he has to in order to save the ones he loves, and to survive out in this cold and cruel world.

Calm and Kind---------->

Oakstripe has a heart like any other cat around. He is very much a gentleman and has a soft side. He likes to help out others with nothing given to him in return. He's nice to others, and doesn't like to hold grudges. Caring for the one's he loves, this cat would do anything to help out a friend in need. He is also a very calm natured character. Doesn't go out looking for adventure, the adventure usually finds him first. He isn't an all too impatient cat, he'll wait for things. Isn't one to step to conclusions all too quickly without studying the evidence closely.

Being half ShadowClan, some would expect Oakstripe to be aggressive and ruthless towards others, but on the contrary, he is the exact opposite. But that still doesn't mean he can't get abit nasty, he does have ShadowClan blood in him.
Oakstripe has a deep caring for kits, for their safety as well as their life. He does hope to have kits of his own one day, but with all that is happening with his new warrior responsibilities, it's impossible to settle down for just a second.

Besides, he doesn't even have a mate yet. Speaking of mates, it won't be hard for this handsome to even get one. But he isn't one to just choose a willing she-cat and have kits, but then forget about ever having them, like some toms he knows do. He wants to find that special someone he won't be able to live one day without thinking about. If he ever finds that one she-cat, he'll treat her with the utter-most respect, and do anything and everything for her. He'll go as far as dis-respecting the leader if he or she does something to harm his mate. He'll be the one to show his soft and gentle side to his mate. He'll tell all his secrets to her, and just act like all the troubles in the world are gone with her around.


Stubborn and Determined---------->

Here's where his ShadowClan blood shows most. Oakstripe is one of the stubbornest cats maybe in all of ShadowClan. He is the cat to state his opinion no matter how serious the situation is. He can get into trouble with his sharp tongue. This is when the tern, "hold your tongue" is used most for this tom. It's not his fault he wants to help make decisions, and to lead the clan into the right direction. He has abit of an attitude as well. He gets annoyed easily and that's when his stubborn side shows. He is very determined as well. Wanting to do his very best for the clan, but his hard-head can sometimes difficult things. It's just that no one listens to him. Just because he's a new warrior, doesn't mean he doesn't have some important role in the clan as well!
When he was an apprentice, his voice was barely heard beyond a cat's whisker, but now that he's a warrior, maybe they'll listen!

Oakstripe is a natural leader too, he likes to take charge, but not as far as to seem bossy. He's a respectful tom, and will back down if he is being told too. All he wants for his clan is that it to be led down the right path, and not provoked by ambitious desires.
Oakstripe can be considered weak for his rash decisions to do right, and not to just jump to problems they face with tooth and claw. He doesn't want to be a cat that settles things with split blood, all he wants is peace and right.

In battle, Oakstripe can be described as tough and fierce. He's fighting for his clan, how else would you think him to be? He only goes as far as to leave a small scar, and to scare. He won't kill to teach a cat a lesson, that's wrong in his opinion. He's also swift and a cunning thinker when it comes to battling. He was taught by the best you know. He thinks through his motives before doing so. And if a cat's down on the field, you can bet every scrap of prey that this cat will go back for them.

Charming and Humerous---------->

This tom has a funny bone or two in him. He likes to make others smile, and with the way his clan mates act, it can be kinda tough to. He likes to make small jokes and just to show others that not all things in this world are bad. He's quite the encourager as well, giving good advise and making wise decisions.

Oakstripe is also quite the charmer. He chooses his words carefully, and is a smooth talker. Out-going and casual, this tom could best be describe as being cool. He's not afraid to let loose and just hang out with others. Put the work aside, and just sit down with some fresh-kill to have some talk time.

Overall, Oakstripe is just a regular cat. Whatever the reason, he is one of ThunderClan's finest warriors, and maybe one day will lead. But only StarClan knows where this tom's paws will take him.
