Dragonheart padded through the undergrowth, trying to forget the nightmare she had last night. With border patrol over with, She maybe thought that she could hunt to clear her busy mind. The wind was strong and Dragnheart could hear the branches above creaking under the strain. She looked up and remembered how her sister had died from a fallen branch. She sighed and remembered her sister's happy face that day. The broad shouldered she-cat shook her head so as to rid it of unwanted thoughts. It felt as if the wounds on her heart had reopened. 'Focus on the hunt' She told herself sending out her senses. A rather plump looking mouse was not to far off looking for nuts on the forest floor. Dragonheart crouched and crept forward silently. A huge gust of wind came through making the branches very noisy. The mouse looked up and saw Dragonheart. It was now or never, so the she-cat took off. She wasn't close enough and so the mousse had safely made it into its house before Dragonheart could reach it. She cursed the wind for making such noise and sat down to lick the sap from her paw, ears still alert.
